We don't like them, they absolutely despise us, it's kind of like those relationships where they really hate each other but stay together and pretend everything's going all right. Like quite a few I've seen. *shuts up before he becomes an emo kid*

The poll is about the UN HQ and why the hell it's still in the USA. Not about how much anti-American propaganda you can throw at us today. Shut your trap Hunter.

I was just there today for some reason or another, ahh right community service. Both my parents are eymployees with the UN,[Accounts; Oil for Food] so if you make them move, your gonna make me move with them *slaps idiot who would think of such*

The Relationship between the UN/US is really more than meets the eye. For instance, with US now inviting back the UN to help with their mess in Iraq, things are getting better for their relations, though those idiot Iraqi Guards let the UN building blow up with the next SG.

Without the UN, the US would not have the legitimacy it USUALLY credits itself with, and would have to take the ENTIRE world crisis bill, instead of not paying some years than others.

And finally, this is fucking New Yoooooooooork City, "the epicenter of the Universe as we know it" my friend said, everything, everybody, comes here. Where are we gonna put the UN, Kabul Afghanistan? ? ?

One more thing, the United Nations territory on any location in the world that it has been given, is SOVERIEGN United Nations Land, not America's.

-I.E. There isn't a single NYPD/Secret Service officer located in the UN except when the UN invites them to enter, especially during the G.A. So techincally, the UN HQ building is in sovereign UN land since the 40's. So I void this topic. =\

Agreed, but thats not happenign anytime soon. Liek any relationship, there are bumps, some that are for the tightening (sept 12th) and some for the worse (iraq) as of most recent.

Actually, the UN is supposed to be the "good" guy here... Caring for people... If their agenda is different from the US....

hmmm....that is why Iraq under Saddam was schedule to be chairman of the humantarian council. Great guy to have running the world's human rights!
