What do Cantrians do in the real world?

Just thought I'd start a friendly thread to see what other Cantrians do with their lives. What do you do for a job, basically? Or what do you study? Or are you just a slacker?

And what is your favourite past-time (....besides Cantr!!)
I'll kick this thread off.. I'm 20, I've worked in several high-level corporate jobs with extremely good pay, and now I'm going back to University (as of the start of this year) and studying a sociology-type course, with a focus on law and criminals, eventually moving into Law (and thus becoming a lawyer

).
In my spare time I drink, go clubbing and explore the inner workings of my mind and the universe through psychadelic drugs.
You?

I'm also in university, finishing my Arts degree, and hoping to get an MBA afterward. Next year I'll be going on exchange to Japan (I'm an Asian Studies major). I currently work as a museum tour guide, and I used to tutor math and English.

In my abundant spare time, I go to karaoke and AYCE sushi, worry about life, curse US immigration, screw up my sleeping, drag my friends on "adventures," and play therapist/counselor/advisor to various people. ... Generally, my life is pretty dull.

I study Architecture and Civil Engineering, though I focus more on my spare time than on my academics. I pursue creative writing, photography, philosophy, theatre and street performances, read a lot of poetry and like to date neurotic, anxious painters or designers with odd haircuts. I'm a bohemian junkie.

I'm another university student. I'm double majoring in Finance and Economics, and possibly minoring in mathematics. I'm also training to be an RA during the next few academic years. I'm trying to fit study abroad into my schedule, hopefully London or Brisbane. After I graduate, I'm looking into culinary/pastry school because I want to open a bakery/cafe. In my spare time, I play guitar and get dragged to clubs with my friends.

Lately my job is to defend UNIX against a new boss who is very biased in favor of Windows servers and sit in project meetings with people who don't fully understand what a web browser is/does. In other words, my job is to create material for Dilbert. Outside of work: I take college classes just for the sake of taking them, do home improvement projects, travel for concerts (I'm starting to feel like this is a personals ad), watch movies with friends etc. Got a few business ventures I try to work on when I have time. And so on...

I spend enough time administering Cantr that it could be considered a bona fide job. While I do that, I'm a laboratory manager at an ivy league university going on 12 years now, and also got my masters degree in biotechnology from said university. I'm also a full-time dad (expecting #2 in June) and an aspiring fantasy writer.

Why did you feel the need to say you made a lot of money? I don't get why people ever advertise that about themselves. Especially on an anonymous forum.
I'm a horse manure cleaner and make "shit" pay.

I agree, personally I think it's douchey too, but I can't deny that I'm proud of getting that job. And hey, it's something I never have, and never will, say in real life. On the internet, I can say it and be a bit more open.
Some very interesting stories here, I find SumBum's to be the most intriguing. (not that there is any ranking)
More uni students than I thought, too.

I work at a daycare, chasing two and three year olds through hallways for 8+ hours a day, minus time for lunch, snack, and naps.

Just kidding...only one of them runs all the time.
Anyways, I'm the 2s and 3s teacher at a daycare here in town, I've been there for a couple of months now. I'm hoping to get back into some martial arts classes soon as I've let myself go, -terribly-, and need to get back in shape.
I will hopefully be going to school soon, will be majoring in something to do with criminology, as I would like to be a Homicide detective.

Other than cantr, I read a lot, I hang out with my boyfriend, and our mutual friends. We do a lot of gun training classes, and going out for coffee...even at 2 am (although that is usually at someone else's house, or Waffle House)
That's really about it..

I'm studying in a vocational school to become a cook. Most of my classmates are 16 to 18. I'm the oldest at 25. I only go to school three days a week since I've studied common subjects earlier in another school. For the past month or so I've been waiting tables. When I'm not at school, I play Cantr, In The Groove and some FTO. Occasionally I do php or database stuff. Occasionally I also write plans for my own game but I tend to think too complex, so I'm not making much progress on it.

I'm an SFF fangirl living with fangirls, so deciding what constitutes the real world is a little tricky. I work in retail, write SFF--both original and fan fiction--and volunteer to varying degrees with a few organizations related to writing and transformational fandom. I record podbooks. I filk. I play tabletop RPGs. I'm designing an epistolary RPG, and if anyone is interested in alpha testing such a game, please PM me.
I sometimes help teach courses about an obscure model that essentially serves as a unified field theory of the humanities. It's a fascinating field, and there is nothing in the literature about it due to the originally researcher dying before publication. I want to get it out there, so I'm currently trying to decide between academic and internet/pop culture routes to doing so.

Um, do you know any good book agents? I'm trying to get my novel published, and the process is paralyzing me. I do have a list of names, but they're just names on a sheet with publication statistics.

My guess would be Sci-Fi Fantasy.
I'm a recent college grad, working for minimum wage, but looking for better.
