That doesn't really help me with being jealous you know. :D

I will likely have to work until my 67 or something like that. That is if I don't kill myself for not being able to deal with Cantr being down so long.

Two mid-40s folks, retired, with law degrees.. Man, did I choose the wrong career! I believe I MIGHT be able to afford to retire when I'm 120... oh, well, at least my house is about 40% paid off already.... (and I get to play Cantr at work ;-) (If it ever comes back :-(

I did cross country and long distance track, and plan to still run. And I play the cello a lot too. I'm trying to learn programming and web-design. I also play Cantr, FTO, Ikariam (enough to survive), and Runescape. I'm very different than the average Runescape player though. I guess that applies to Cantr too.
The news that Joshuamonkey is now 18 has depressed me greatly.

They grow up so fast, don't they? *sniff*

Partly because of Cantr, I feel like an old man and a little kid at the same time.

woohoo, something else I can post about! (I'm new to these forums, yet not a new player or anything...)

I'm 19, and in university. I study religion and global development (or lack thereof.) I live comfortably below the poverty line, can't seem to find a job right now, and have been trying to help my cantr withdrawal by playing GTA ... it's not working. I love trivia, reading, and most of all sleeping. I listen to classic rock, and suppose I'm of the hippie variety.
Oh, and I'm Canadian. Yay :D

Well, lets see...

I'm 22, and majoring in Graphic Design, BFA. This will be my fifth, and final, year. Art is what I do, ladies and gents. :) Been working as a shophand at a local museum the past three years, setting up exhibits, building displays, that sort of thing. At least, I was, until the beginning of this month, when a cut to their funding had them letting go of all of their student workers. So, I'm recently unemployed, and looking for a new job or two.

Eh, hobbies: Computer games are my kryptonite. I love building stuff. Had a hammer in my hand since before I was in daycare. Love to read, listen to almost all music, and I'm a huge fan of movies (action, adventure, and comedy, please!). I could fill a page covering my tastes in books and music, so "mostly everything" is a pretty good descriptor. Love being outdoors as well; kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, alpine skiing, you name it. In my spare time, I make pottery and metal sculpture.

I'm also what you could call a medieval enthusiast. Been shooting a bow since I was 6, swordfighting since I was 8, making chainmaille since I was 12, costumes around 18, shields at 19, and making plate armour since I was 20.

I'm 16, I'm not currently employed, and I attend high school. I'm a hobbyist programmer, and hope to one day attend school for computer science.

Cool, I'm into art too :) I only wish I was in BFA though :( My parents decided that they didn't want to pay six figures for me to "paint pretty pictures." Ah well. I'm perfectly happy where I'm at, and seeing as I'm thoroughly unemployed I have plenty of time to paint.
I wish I could swordfight. I'd feel pretty badass brandishing a claymore. Lucky you!
I also forgot to mention my love/obsession with animals. I have two rats and a skinny pig atm, but if I hadn't got in huge trouble in residence I'd also have mice and a rabbit. I had a bunch of pets in res and was forced to give them away. Lame. Oh well. I wish I'd known years ago what great pets rats make :)
