What a kickass idea. So I'll look hot and thin and tanned and stick out like a sore thumb. Epic win.
Downside.. isn't this going to make it even easier for pedobear types to uh.. do their thing?

Not unless they're in shape?...
Besides as if it would be difficult for a new system to make it's debut at this point with Xbox acting like idiots. Watch the sales drop. Many veteran players are out of shape... So, now they need to go to the gym before they're even allowed to play?
"Sorry you have been denied access, you are too fat"? and watch the lawsuits... "I have the right to enjoy what little is good in my life in or out of shape" Blah blah blah.
XBOX is BS!

I actually thought of an idea similar to this involving mmorpgs.
The idea was that instead of people having to solely level up their characters by fighting hordes of minions, they could level up by purchasing a device such as a pedometer, among other health tracking devices, and upload the data from the devices to level up their chars.
While I don't like the "locking out" features Microsoft might implement, I think if items like this are an option, rather than mandatory, it would give many people the motivation they need to get off their butt and be healthy.

Parental Control.
An xbox says, "Mom says you're too fat to play with me. Go outside."
