Minecraft is an up an coming great game made by Notch. Who also worked on the first Wurm graphical client ages ago.
It should have full multiplayer capabilities soon. Though I've already tested them and have had a blast with it.
Anyway try out my
Temple of Notch which isn't complete yet.
You start out at the the topmost part of the temple.
Controls are on the bottom of the page.

ooooh! Just IMAGINE the possibilities! I can't wait for multiplayer. HIDE AND SEEK FTW!
*has only played 2 minutes yet but plays a bit more now*
Hmm... floating soil ftl, I hope there'll be physics and all that.

There is physics.
Try sand or gravel.
They drop down if you dig under them.
Notch also has plans to make the water a bit more complex.
Btw there's bound to be some lava hidden somewhere as well

Water is basically... you hit water and it fills everywhere? O-o
But I tried all kinds of different blocks and it won't fall down.

Sand is the one that is very white with a bit of yellow.
Gravel is dark gray. Though alot of other blocks are gray.
Just keep trying.

Multiplayer is really fun.
Notch also has plans to implement a survival mode.

That game has an interesting voxel-like structure. It has potential, although it feels like it could be optimised somewhat, which I assume due to the "up and coming" part.

I keep on flooding my gold mines
Is it possible to...unflood rooms? Or water just keeps getting larger with every little space it can?

Create a block on each tile of water...
