Xbox360 live, is it really worth it?

Postby Hustler0ne » Wed Dec 10, 2008 7:12 pm

I'm getting a XBOX 360 pretty soon, and I cant decide whether or not I want to subscribe to Xbox live. Theres a ton of games I want that have multiplayer suport, but I'm already paying for internet and monthly membership fees to my local gym. What I get paid per hour is far from minimum wage, but I don't have a 6 figure income either. Most of the games available for the 360 are $50-60, and ontop of that a 12 month membership another $50. That's a pretty good deal, but I get up for work at 3am and get home at 4pm(only reason I'm not at work right now, is because I broke my fingers yesterday)so by the time I sit down and relax, have a cigarette, feed and let the dogs, clean the place up, throw my clothes in the dryer and finally make my self some dinner I'll only have a few hours of "me time". Besides that, I burn through console games like my grandma goes through a bag of doughnuts.

Advice?

My advice is XBL when I had it for my original Xbox was totally worth it and I only played three games online. Remember a good game doesn't need to be online.

If you find a game you like and the mutiplayer/online ability is what you want then go for it. Also being a memeber does not mean you can't go online. Any game that is on PS3 as well as 360 is fee to play and requires n member ship. I.E. Shadowrun

I say be a silver member untill you really want to pay that one game online and absolutly need a gold membership to do so.

That is just me.
