I used to be waiting for Fallout 3 but with the extra violence system and real time combat, I'm not so sure anymore.

I second Seko's feeling about Fallout 3.

I'm looking forward to Sacred 2 and Fable 2. I still haven't decided which one I like more.
Like Cantr, only better:

Mirror's Edge. To my knowledge, the only game dedicated to parkour and freerunning. One of the only first-person games where you're able to see your own feet (really, I get so annoyed when you look like you have floating arms in games like Call of Duty 4 and BioShock). One of the only games that emphasizes synching camera movements with head movements. The one game made after the only sport I ever gotten so into.

Me too the naval combat looks amazing, and Aliens: Colonial Marines.

I was going to say "You'll be lucky, how many decades has that been in development for now?" but I see it's just come out for the Xbox 360 but only in the US. What happened to the PC version? Xbox didn't even exist when the last Dukem game came out.

They have a video out now showing the land battles and it just looks amazing. I just hope my computer works with it. I'm surprise how well this generation hardware and software is holding up so far. Every time I buy a new game I suspect it not to work but unlike back five years or so ago they haven't made any huge advances in computers that have affected games.

FO3 completely contradicts the story line of the original series, I'v read the fallout bible enough times, and beaten the originals more times than I can count. None of it adds up, the vaults where originally intended to be cruel social experiments, Vault 106 - 1000 men for every woman, Vault 69 - 40, 60 watt light bulbs in the whole vault. The experiments where being planned, knowing people would flee to the vaults once the rescource war hit a climax and the bombs dropped, so daddy running away to seek bla bla bla, just doesn't make since. Ontop of that 2277 is is not even 40 years after the enclave was destoryed and Fallout 2 ended (2242), according to Tim Mcain and Chris Avellone the brother hood killed the remnants of the enclave and took over the base under Navaro. So how did the enclave regain power and control?. What bethesda gave us was shallow answers to deep questions, and a watered down sequel to the latest installment of the original franchise.

overall the game is great(purely on gameplay, I sudjust you get it), but I don't even consider it part of the series.

Woh, topic created in september and not even two pages? :?

I would be creaming myself looking forward to playing Diablo III, if I actually had a computer good enough to play it on.

Same goes for Starcraft II, but the fact that the Jews in charge of Activision extended their slimy tentacles into my Blizzard and infected them with the motivation to make as much money as possible while putting not a thought into how the consumers feel, and decided to release 3 different games, one equal only 0.333333... of the campaign, is also a negative factor.</rant>

Yea, with all these game companys merging and selling out, we get more knock offs than we do true sequels :?
