If you lived in Cantr

Postby SekoETC » Wed Aug 20, 2008 10:46 am

...What would your skills be?
...Where would you like to live?
...What would you be wearing?
...What would you be doing?

My answers:

Physical strength: weaker than average.

I'm leaving out some skills I haven't tried and would most likely count as awkwardly.

Collecting - skillfully
Digging - skillfully
Gardening - efficiently
Tailoring - efficiently
Cooking - efficiently
Farming - efficiently
Burying - efficiently (guessing)
Carpentering - novicely
Fishing - novicely
Manufacturing weapons - novicely
Fighting - awkwardly or novicely
Building - awkwardly
Foresting - awkwardly
Manufacturing tools - awkwardly
Hunting - awkwardly

I'd be living in a seaside location that has potatoes and is close to a forest. Population maybe 12 people, certainly less than 20. There would be bikes and boats but no motorized vehicles.

I wouldn't mind wearing a hemp skirt and tunic, but I'd like to have cotton underwear. I'd like to have fur-lined boots but plain leather shoes would be okay too.

I'd be a part-time farmer and mostly occupy myself with drawing and writing stories. I could also play a bone flute. I'd live in a cottage or a shack and I'd have a fur rug or a cot in there.

I would live in Doryiskom. Or if I couldnt population would be 30-40, by the sea, plains and all forms of vehcles are avaible although motorized vehcles are not nearly as common as wagons, rickshaws and the like.

I would want Cotton Trousers and a Cotton Long Shirt, a pair of shoes, a coat or robe of some kind .

I would be a business man.

(P.S if this gives away who I am in Cantr please do not gibe it away.)

Hmm tricky...

I'd be of average strength and live on my own in a mountain cave where the view is good, probably somewhere like Pok Mountains North where i would be surrounded by non-inhabited places and have a nice view of Lake Drakt.
I'd spend my days organising, then reorganising every minor detail in the place, and talking to the animals. Once every 5 or 6 years, i'd take a rickshaw to go to a town and buy some form of food stuff that could be processed into something that lasts longer. I'd wear a simple cotton shirt and maybe a hide skirt or something similar that allows freedom of movement without clinging too close. I wouldn't care what it looks like.
I'd have a type instrument that i would try to learn very slowly.

Physical Strength: Average.

I'd want to either live in Karnon or in the DHS region. Fond memories playing in DHS. It'd be nice to have a little cottage with a fireplace or oven and a bed. For clothes, I'd want moccasins and a simple cotton dress.
I'd probably be a cook, or maybe I wouldn't mind being a mail carrier as long as I got to take time to enjoy the cottage.

Probably a cotton shirt and some kind of pants.
When you hope for something, you often believe in something. When you believe in something, you often have pride in it. Being proud often leads to a hating of some group.

Physical Strength: Average Strength

I would probably be wearing a cotton chemise with primitive sandals and lots of silver jewelry.
I would live in a small town by the sea with a small craft to sail out on when the fancy took me.
For the most part, I would be sitting in my garden writing sentiment notes for others and embellishing them with paper craft that I had recycled from old notes. I would be ever devising and scheming a way to do my heart’s desire while I had something cooking, baking or fermenting automatically.

Lots of silk, jewelry (guys jewelry) and very wealthy with a furnished room, a sportscar. I'd probably live in Central Hills if it was active enough and had lots of people, as a MacGregor!

I'd be living in Seatown

I would wear cotton trousers, cotton tshirt, and canvas sneakers

I would be entertaining myself on the beach with various activities. Then I'd cook in my beach house that I would have built right on the beach. Possibly, I'd build and manage a beach resort for business.

I love Doryiskom! At least most of the time. :P
I´d rather live there than in some other towns (though I can´t think of any town where I wouldn´t want to live at all).

One of my characters was imprisoned in Doryiskom for a few years. Not that he didn't deserve it but hard to love a town that puts you in jail, especially when you have a girlfriend waiting outside. Another character of mine visited Doryiskom but people pretty much ignored him. Most people wouldn't introduce themselves and no one was trying to sell him anything even though he could afford to buy things. Perhaps he ought to display wealth to get more attention.

Dory has improved as of late, got a little better response on trading suggestions. Also, the dreaded whispering and intrigue games seems to have faded away too.

I'd live in Kwor, living in the library trying to make sense of the world. Wearing cotton shirt, trousers and a pair of leather boots.
Stronger than average.
Manufacturing - expertly
Manufacturing machines - skillfully
Refining - efficiently
Smelting - efficiently
Collecting - novicely
Manufacturing weapons - novicely
Manufacturing vehicles - novicely
all others awkwardly
