Happy to be Canadian

The topic about being ashamed to be a londoner got me to thinking, Hey we got it good in canada We got free health care a pretty good international rep, social security, a economy thats going good and a okay government and 3 main parties with a growing forth. (not including the bloc because they only in quebec).

A mix of canada and the USA would be best but as is Canada is the best place to live still I'm so happy I'm not from Isreal or something.

Canada plus Us? I shake my head to that! I do not AT ALL want to unite with the americans. and I doubt that many canadains want to unite the two.

My Mistress is Canadian, and I see lots more good points about Canada in general than the US, however the US has some good people and places, it's not all bad.

I understand that. But really we dont want to trade what we got for private health care, economic recession and the war in iraq. Sorry but really no thanks. Also I find the canadian idiot song quite funny.

Hehe. Making fun of your neighbouring countries is much more fun if you have as much as we have. :)

If I had to choose whether to emmigrate to Canada or to the US I would definitely choose Canada.

I think there are very few people who aren't proud of their own county... In fact everyone is very nationalist. They might like other countries but they always glorify their own flag, of course. And people who don't do it are kinda...stupid. Everyone screams their potential, which is obvius... But all have their flaws. Like, Americans, maybe they are unlucky but what I mostly see... Common people have no culture(that's what I see, might not be true): http://youtube.com/watch?v=fJuNgBkloFE Still, admit, they have the world at their feet at the moment (not for long, though)

As for Portuguese, big potential, but all corrupt --" Oh and most old woman have a mustache :? But still, a country who could fit 10x on most of the other countrys in the world, once had the world at their feet.

And I must admit american television is good. Even though I see alot of commercials for stores that arent in canada you have a better selection of shows then we do. Good thing almost all canadians have american cable and sattelite!
