Hey all,
I created a new account, admittedly somewhat reluctantly!
It's been a long time I've not been playing Cantr. At least a year. And much longer since I first signed up early this millennium. Seems a few things have changed since then; hopefully for the best in most cases.
As I scan the forum I can see many familiar faces, and a handful of new ones. So my regards to those who remember me, and to those who don't I look forward to playing with you.
I'm an IT consultant now, which leaves me with a few hours a day with access to the web, but not instant messaging. Cantr just felt like an ideal time-sink for that gap.
As of yet, I won't have the time to lead any mass-killing armed forces anytime soon. However, only time will tell what I have in store for my return to Cantr.

Ah, yes... Time sink... Us eternal students have lots of time to sink, thus my consistent hanging around a la bad-smell...

I didn't play back then, but welcome back. I am rellitizly new, oldest character would be turning 32 soon if he didn't die.

That's probably a little late, now? Already have my first 2 characters.
Oh, and I got approved within 2 minutes of applying. Is the process automated now? (good move to keep new players, I recall ranting about this..)
Oh, and thanks all for the welcome back. I guess there are more new people here than I first thought.
edit: also, what's the benefit of taking my old account? and.. which one? My first one was 3864

Well, they still can be merged. Benefits aren't great, you just have the ID number you used to, and you have access to your old, dead character list.
