A Cantr swede visiting US.

I am going to help my uncle and his whife to go to the US and visit relatives. We will visit Denver CO, Los Angeles CA and Portland OR. Probably we will be driving in between, as it is much to see and we have the time not just rushing over things we pass by.
You who live in the area, can You help me find things and places not listed in the normal tourist guides. I would like to see much that not the normal tourist see.
