Actually I've never had any problems with SETI. It's tripped out a couple times when the connection was interrupted while it was receiving or sending info, but that's it. It finished "data unit" 420 today :P

I'm a SETI@Home person my self and I've never had problems it depends when you were using it they releaseda new version farely recently and I haven't had any difficulty with slow downs or otherwise.
I'll be sure to have a look at this other program though sounds rather intresting.

I am also a SETI@Home person . I am running package 117 now. I run the program at my computer at home and my computer at work. I have used the program also a few years back, but lost the emailadress which I had used to create that account, or else I would have had more packages analysed on my account.
If you have some time/CPU capacity left on your computer (who has it not?), then I would recommend SETI@Home.

SETI doesn't really have "teams" (I don't think), but some people have a team of people in a specific place with coms networked together to process more info. But that's an entirely different concept.

They do have teams! They call them groups.

I have created our own group! This is the URL where you can join.

Hope that a lot of the players will follow.
