I have a final tomorrow, and I seem to have lost most of the papers I'm supposed to study from, any help is really, really, really appreciated. Seriously. I'll be forever grateful. No blog this time, I promise.
I need to know what the five characteristics of propaganda are (FOUND)
Seven basic propaganda techniques (FOUND)
Considering journalistic principles
Five steps of media decision making (FOUND)
A moral agent's motivation (FOUND)
Thank you very much in advance.
Edit: thanks a lot. Thanks for nothing

I don't undestand. How can we help look for lost papers? Go to your house? Look under the bed? Check the closet for boogie man?

Journalistic principles? You mean like objectivity, completeness, and accuracy?
...or doing your own work?

I'm sorry I asked for help, I obviously shouldn't have.

Um, the real question is, why are you studying on the night before the exam?
This is just the university's way of filtering though those who study and know their stuff and those who study on the last day and complain to others when it was their fault.

I'm not studying on the night of the exam, I'm reviewing my stuff. Thanks anyway, I found the papers, I reviewed, and I'm going to the exam.
All I had to do was ask one of my friends, and she helped me. I guess I posted here because I was panicking, that's all.
What happened to the friendly people who used to be here? I mean, you're all still here, but not so friendly anymore.

I'm friendly, I'm just in the last year at a difficult journalism program and it has been drilled into me that we all do our own work.
And also, you didn't post anything more than a few very vague topics. We haven't taken your courses; we don't know the context or what you need to know.

Oh come on Dee, we're all friendly, just some people are friendlier than others.
And I know people probably didn't post because they knew nothing of the topic. that was the case with me

You know I'm friendly, Dee.

...and despite our sympathy, it's most unlikely that anyone here has those facts to hand, especially in such a short time.
Good luck.

Hmm, that's a better way to say what I wanted to say.
Dee, I saw your sig, there's no need to quit.
As I was saying, if you were prepared, you wouldn't have been so panicked, and so worried that you had to make a forum post about it.
Also, like I said, don't get all angry at US and quit because of .. that.
We all sympathise but we're not going to give you a half-assed reply, 'oh maybe i can help a little,' isn't it better to get a straight forward one, 'I definately can't help, i didnt do that course'??
