Yay, new years!!!

It's almost upon us....who'd of thunk we would have made it this far?
Anyhoo, got any plans?
I'm kinda freaking out myself.My band's playing it's first gig tomorrow night, we've only been together about 5 or 6 months. We connect pretty well, just nervous. Can you tell? Most of our songs will be our own material, ech.
Anyway...plans? anyone? take my mind off it!!

I live in Napa, which is an hour or so away from Sac area. I have friends up in Roseville. Hmm..
And the concert went well, I'l lget pics/vids up soon.

Today the people in my building had what they call a traditional local (Hawaiian) New Years day lunch. I wasn't going to go because I thought it sounded kind of gross but then I forgot about it and went by accident when I walked downstairs. Here's the menu:
Poi = Tastless purple pudding
Chopped up sardines with seasonings
Corned beef hash - straight from the can
Kim Chee = Korean pickled and fermented cabbage (smells like a dumpster on a hot day but tastes pretty good if you like pickled food)
Whole sardines, chopped tomatoes and chopped onions with vinegar on white rice
It actually turned out to be surprisingly yummy except for the poi which I don't like.
