well with the holidays approching soon again. i would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year. on that note thank god we have cantr for this Christmas! lol while some people will be drinking spiked eggnog and beer, some of us will be having our daily dosage of cantr drug. will may you all have tons of gifts under the tree and lots of kewl lil things to play with. *pops out the ball and paddle* well Merry Christmas!!!

My mom sends my brother and myself out to trim greenery from her neighbors bushes, and we put it around centerpieces on the tables and twirl it around the banister and make an awesome display on the mantle. Then we add in the magnolias that mom sends me into the neighbor's tree for earlier in the year .
Then we put up a 14 ft. tall tree in their sunroom, and we set up my dad's boyhood train sets around the base of the tree, along with our ever growing christmas village that the trains run through.
On Christmas eve, my grandpa leads us in singing christmas songs in German. (We could all speak in German when we were kids, but now we can only remember the songs )
Soon after, we stuff ourselves with everything imaginable, and you wouldn't even believe me if I described all the different foods and goodies.
After that, we watch South Park christmas episodes until my mom swears she'll leave the family if we don't stop ruining Christmas. I'm not kidding.
Then...it's time to open presents!!! These are not piled under the tree, but rather are arranged into two forts on each side of the tree, and the corner behind the tree is used as a "tunnel" between them. Ok, I'm 23 and he's 25. We each play "Santa," and the mission is to give out all of the presents from the other's fort first. I always win because I make sure my fort has all of grandpa's presents in it. (He falls asleep in his chair every year about halfway through opening gifts )
Ahhh...finally, everything settles down and people sit around talking the night away...but wait!!! Dad always notices that the tree looks funny, and my generation is sent to investigate. Somehow Santa always manages to hide things in the tree, and you should see 4 kids and 3 "starving college students" trying to find the surprises without knocking over the tree, breaking ornaments, or planting a foot into the innocent miniature town sleeping below. We each find an envelope, and they contain the kind of Christmas greenery that young people like best

I hate Christmas. There is no point to Christmas trees. There is no point to lights. There is no point to all of it.

I think the parents of America are setting their children to believe in lost fantasies all their lives by making up Santa. I figured it out when I was 7. I had suspicions since I was 6. And just last year I was told what they knew I already knew, and had known for quite a few years. I think people putting the children of the world's faith wrongfully in Santa, the Easter Bunny, and all that other rubbish is just wrong.

But Santa Claus does exist. And there is a point. Everything has a point. It is just sometimes we fail to see that point or to understand it for what it is.

Santa Claus is real.

I think that I have the right to do that--because you know that he doesn't exist.

I know that Santa Claus does exist. And you do have the right to look at anything in your own light but being a little bit more open minded is also a good thing.

No matter what you may or may not celebrate I hope you enjoy yourself.

I myself am looking forward to gathering with my friends and relatives, eating great food, and having a memorable time. My family is very close knit and we have a number of tradtions - I love each and every one.

My favorite is our Christmas Eve ride - we saddle up all the horses and deck them out in matching red and green barding and ride throughout the neighborhood caroling.

Kinda wish I had some snow though....

I have some to spare. Snow that is.
