Things I noticed in Hawaii

1) street lights are yellow
2) flying cockraches 3 inches long (they tend to remain outside thank goodness)
3) Lizzards everywhere
4) amazing foliage.. Leaves bigger than me (will get photo)
5) Not many fast food joints... not like in Michigan..
6) Walmart looks exactly the same!
7) No matter where you go.. it is uphill or downhill
8) At 77 degrees, I seen a woman in a coat I would wear at 30 degrees

A lava flow... if you touch it , it is hot!

The southeast coast..I was afraid to get to close to the edge, you can see the crack where it will eventually fall into the sea.. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y13/Su ... 70_070.jpg

Orchids...These are in a garden, but they grow wild, and the colors are awesom.

These are lovely scenery and nature photos, Sunni! But where are the pics of you? Lying on a hammock, being fanned by a native with one of those huge leaves.
