Thought or Rant of the day!!!

I thought I'd finally shaken this headache that's been after me for the past 4-5 days, but the involuntary nap I took earlier and the resulting nap hangover have brought it back. I feel very floaty and ramble-y

On the plus side, I made chicken empanadas earlier and they were awesome. I'm trying a new brownie recipe now and hoping it comes out well. Chocolate brownies and I don't usually get along, partially because my oven can't be trusted.

And on the plus plus side, I'm starting to be able to eat more normally, without the fear that my throat will close up and reject everything or swell up to where I can hardly breathe. I ate plain bread the other day for the first time in over a year and soy products are doable but occasionally somewhat difficult.

Stood on my balcony tonight and watched the parade of lights, several ships lit with lights, each was 1 solid color, no moon (visible) so it was very dark. The colors reflecting from the inky water was awesome!

Moved into a new office in a new building (like, new, new. Not just "new to me") on Monday, so stuff still being hectic and work, so sorry if sometimes I unexpectedly go silent in the middle for a few hours. Usually means my boss popped by.

Vent:
Sitting outside, about 8 degrees celsius, relaxing with a friend.
Lit up a cigar, wonderful one, completely relaxed.
Poored myself and my friend a nice 16 year old single malt scottish whiskey.
It starts to rain.
I descide I will not be messed with, and move into the garage... Which I find out is leaking.

I feel like I'm taking this game far too seriously.

I've been out of the house today from 06:55 through 21:55. I just got my computer set up so I could tell you all this.
School, as usual. Then percussion until 16:00. And then driving over an hour away (and dealing with my mother's gasping the whole time) and dealing with a huge line for half an hour of people trying to sign in and get audition cards. Going straight from there to the audition room for my first audition which was supposed to be at 17:28 but ended up being more like 17:59, and then to get my other instrument out so I could go to my second audition which was supposed to be at 17:56 and ended up being around 18:10, which wasn't as far off, but still annoying. After that, we went to dinner at the same place we went last year, but this year I got a seafood dish and I wasn't disappointed (mussels and scallops and shrimp! oh my!). We got back around 19:30, and my next audition wasn't supposed to be until 21:09, but my mom wanted to go home, so I went to scout the line, and thankfully it was short (one person in front of me) and so I ended up auditioning around 20:20, and then we made an hour's drive home.

It's been a really long day. I haven't even logged into Cantr, and I'm going to bed now. Good night.
