Then the moment it turns sexual, it turns to whispers and it's assumed that the couple fall into another dimension where they can't be seen, even though they haven't moved from their spot.

Oh god, I hate these people.
Hell, even sometimes they'd go inside, but they'd come out the next day and talk about how their partner couldn't walk anymore.. I hate that crap. Do normal couples walk around and shout "I'M SCREWING THIS GIRL, HAY LOOK AT ME"

Oh wait, nevermind.
Stupidity is relative.

The only server I can connect to is cantr.net. This is so bizarre. Nothing else works.

My thought of the day- Staff abuse.

I strongly dislike staff abuse, this applies to the day jobs, night jobs and volunteer jobs. I don't like people forgetting I too am a person simply because I'm standing behind a counter. I'm a cashier, not a CEO, I can't answer your every question, it's unrealistic for you to think I can.

Cut the staff some slack- smile at your cashiers in stores, say thank you if you can.

As for the cantr staff- A lot of players (Or a few very vocal players) are quick to assume something suspicious is a CRB. Sometimes there are coincidenses, sometimes their are trends. It isn't always cheating. First impressions can be wrong. As a player I can say I found it horribly frustrating to have someone accuse me of a CRB when I know I'd done nothing wrong. I find it absurd how often staff members come under the gun simply for having a bit of power. First off- cantr is a game, take a moment and breath before you get too worked up. Secondly- they're volunteers, can we appreciate that more often than accuse them of this or that? Thank you to the staff for doing what you can where you can to make this game an enjoyable experiance. I'm sorry if you ever/often feel taken for granted.

Apologies for the post- just got off work, rather bitchy.

Brownies are plenty good if made from scratch, but I would
rather have some good ole apple smoked, barbecue baby back ribs.
I'll tell you something. You bite into that first rib and that smoke
ring is to the bone all the way round... that's damn good eats.
After the ribs and a few beers and room permiting I may eat a
homemade brownie, none of that boxed junk. And damn, better yet,
real home made, from cream cheese, baked in the oven, cheesecake.

One tip on ribs.
Never put sauce on raw ribs.
Put the sauce on after they are nice and smoked and put it on thin.
Then back over some real hot coals for a couple more minutes on each side.
You want to accentuate the smoke flavor, not smother it.

Another tip, to taste (optional).
Vinegar:
Don't shy away from using vinegar on ribs.
Pour some vinegar in a bowl, about a half cup.
Get your hands in that vinegar, palm side down, and get them all nice and vinegary.
Take those hands and smear that vinegar all over them ribs nice and good.
Trick is, you want to get a little vinegar on them ribs, just a little.
This is a trial by doing kinda thing.
Go slow and small and you'll figure how much vinegar to use.

Tip 3:
Use green wood, not soaked chips.
You can use chips, but soaking will not help.
Wrap dry chips in foil, then put on coals or flame.
Green wood, no need to debark it, has so much liquid flavor goodness in it.
Never use evergreen. Will taste like tar.
All fruitwoods, maples etc.. are good.
Let your fingers and google find what wood is suitable for smoking.
Dry chunk, green and dry chips(in foil) will work on any charcoal, gas or, well pretty much all grills and smokers (any fuel).

Well, I haven't more time right now. I may be back later with more smoked ribs tips.
Shame shame shame. I use store-bought sauce. *hangs head in shame*
*grins* Some of them can make some damn good sauce.

I will probably not be back with smoking ribs/meat. You can search and
find it better. Once you find your way, there is no turning back.

Peace and eat tasty :!:

Mom sounds like she's on the verge of tears. I feel like a bad girl for not helping. But I feel clumsy, I feel I would be on the way. I feel trapped. I don't hug people. If I hugged her then maybe she would start crying for real. Then I would feel awkward. I feel like I don't deserve to eat.

Seko, a hug says you care. It's a simple, physical act. But to do it you have to let your mum inside your bubble and you have to get inside hers. Some people don't like that so a hug doesn't carry the right message. Some people can't do it so they can't deliver the message with a hug. Why not deliver the message some other way? Is she upset with you?

I think she's upset with dad. She's happy when he's not home but she gets awful when they're together. And she always tries too hard. She hates cooking but still makes all sorts of stuff. My mom has CP, that makes her weaker and clumsier than regular people. A few weeks ago she spilled coffee on her foot and got a burn. It doesn't seem to be healing even though she got antibiotics. Sometimes she's complaining that it hurts. One time I said maybe she should get a wheelchair. She got upset about that. She's such a fighter and she can't admit that she needs help. We've gotten used to her playing strong so it's unusual that she would ask for help.

I'm not a hugger person. When I was a toddler and mom was bedridden after giving birth to my little brother, I was going around the apartment on my own and if I fell then I would cry, and mom would call me to come over to her so that she could comfort me but maybe I didn't understand because I didn't go, and after a while I was going around the apartment again. I also didn't take eye contact. When I was maybe two years old, mom heard about autism on the radio and got scared because I was showing those symptoms. Then she started picking me up and intentionally looking into my eyes because I couldn't take initiative. Now I'm a grown up and she still catches me sometimes, when I'm going to the living room computer or standing around. Sometimes I feel awkward when hugged when I'm on my way somewhere (like to the computer) but otherwise it feels nice. I think Josh is the only person I hug out of my own initiative.
