It is. It's the way to prove or disprove if i've got one of the scary words he's said are possible with my syymptoms. And see if not, if there's something else there.

Oh, wait, you're Canadian. Your doctors don't pad their bills with unnecessary tests just because insurance will pay it.

Okay, stupid me. Waited for my sister, visiting from Israel via Florida, at the train station instead of the airport, for a half hour before verifying with my wife where I was supposed to meet her. So, she was waiting for me for an hour (she could have called, I suppose? I didn't have a way of getting in contact with her).

Rant 2 -- first cold day of the year, and I find out the gas valve of my furnace needed replacement.. $550... *sigh*

Sometimes I just don't understand why some doctors work that way. If they're not sure, why do they scare patients with "could-be's"? Stress has been proved as a strong disease enabler. My thesis was about that, and statistics were clear. I'm not with the stream of hiding information to patients, but only sharing it when you have something -objective- to base it on, and not a bunch of random symptoms. Over all, if one of the "could-be's" is one of the scariest word for anyone who goes to visit a doctor.

Anyways, Rebma. I wish you the best.

I'm kinda obsessed with Revelations videos.
Also, there are only 12 days left for Arkham City! =D

Furthermore, I'm dead. So dead. So, like, yeah, not around here anymore but my obsession and need to share my obsession with you guys brought me back, for the time being.

took some cold medicine that actually did knock me out early yesterday. ive heard of cough syrups that make people pass out, but never actually found one that did that.

i thought maybe i just passed out yesterday from lack of sleep.

but took some of the cough syrup here at work today and now i realize it was really the medicine that made me pass out. struggling not to pass out. i cant pass out here! :(

edit: everything is moving about at a tenth of the speed it should. not good to be so sluggish when im around unruly teenagers. this stuff is powerful!

I've been exhausted lately. I believe that the fact that I'm sleeping no more than 5 hours a day and spending my entire day stressed out doesn't help. But Yay today!! I got off early!! :D

I have a tendency to fall asleep during fourth block, which is my AP Statistics class. I just can't bring myself to stay awake and pay attention in that class, and Cantr has nothing to do with it. Today's school spirit day (homecoming week), so I woke up with warpaint all over what notes I had taken.

It's worse, though, when I take Zyrtec. I have nasal allergy symptoms a lot, so on those seemingly SRSed days, I pretty much have to choose between sneezing all over the place, or only sneezing a little and falling asleep in everything I do. I have to cut the pills in half now for somewhat of a happy medium. My mom is seriously considering allergy shots for me. Woohoo.

I had a really bad allergy some years ago. I wasn't allergic, and over the night, bam, a whole pack of awful symptoms (-really- runny nose, sneezing 15 times in a row, watery eyes, headaches...). The allergy became worse each year, until I developed allergic asthma, so my doctor decided to put me on allergy shots. I was in them for two years, and yeah, that wasn't fun, but since then, all I have had is an ocassional sneeze and a bit of watery eyes. Without taking a single pill.

Probably, it doesn't work the same for everyone, but maybe giving allergy shots a try is not that bad of an idea.

Are you one of my colleagues? I know one of them plays Cantr...
Alas, I finish at 6pm, and most days leave even later. Last Friday I was in the office till 8.30 and ran from our building to my car. It was pitch dark, and my car was around the furthest corner near the bushes. Creepy! Locked the doors as soon as I got in the car lol. We are based by an industrial estate so it's really deserted with no houses nearby. I must be getting old, I remember the times I used to be boisterous and didn't have any qualms about walking on my own at any time of the day.
Constant tiredness is truly awful and extremely draining. Something's gotta give at some point.

My allergies are really temperamental. Some days (like today) I can be almost completely symptom-free without the pill. Some days they respond beautifully to the pill. Other days they're a complete nightmare regardless of whether or not I've taken anything. I've been on four different medications, one of them a prescription, and most have led to diminishing returns. Lately (it started about this time last month) the full dosage of Zyrtec (10mg) has put me to sleep, and I've never had that before, which is why I've started taking half-doses (cutting the pill in half). All of this info contributes to my mom's decision on whether or not I take the shots.

We just got rained out, but people are predicting we'll have to go back out. In the meantime I'm listening to kids singing random stuff, watching one girl pretending to be dead, and guarding my piccolo while posting here and generally being anti-social (as usual....the antisocial part). Yay.

I don't think so, Chroma.... I live in Mexico. (Sorry  ) I agree with you, though. Tiredness makes you do (and think) stupid things.

Sorry for my characters quietness in the past two days. After Yom Kippur ended on on Saturday night, it was break the fast and crash into bed. Sunday, I had to take a kid to class, pick up my oldest from college a half hour away, pick the up the first one from his class and take him to his play rehearsal an hour away, put up the sukkah with my oldest two, pick up my daughter from her play date, decorate the sukkah with her and her brother, eat dinner, go on once-every-seven-weeks citizen's patrol until 10:30PM, and crash again. Never touched a keyboard since Friday afternoon.

Jatima Tova, Gejyspa. :)

I think they're trying to replace me at work. I'm not sure of how I feel. Mostly relieved, because I really don't like this job, but I have to save some money. If they fire me, I hope it's on November. And that way I can look for a new job... maybe something closer to home.
