I wouldn't really call a kilt a "skirt for men", more like a form of traditonal Scottish dress for men. A skirt for men sounds too commercial

They're hella expensive if you want a real one

My dad plays bagpipes (go scottish heritage!)

In America, at least, they're several hundred dollars for the kilt, and more for the jacket, sporran, socks, dubh, shoes, hat, etc. The whole regalia is probably upwards of $700 or...750 Euro, i think. I don't know the exchange rate.
