uTorrent is so much better than BitTorrent D:
Actually it is μ(meta)-Torrent.

I thought it was μ(Mi)-Torrent

It's meta. :P

I have Greek Language (And I hate it, I hate it so very much.) at school.

(Well, I actually finished it this year.)

It is in fact µTorrent (MicroTorrent). µ is the greek letter "mu" so it could also be called MuTorrent, or MiTorrent as a contraction of MicroTorrent. (However if you really want to be creative, you can call it JewTorrent).

Now I'm only reading this thread out of boredom.

But seriously. Doesn't anyone find it weird that people post pictures of *other* people in here? To me it seems kinda wrong. Especially when it's a child.

But maybe it's just me.

Not if it's their "own"?!

Don't you think everyone should be able to decide whether or not they show their face online, where virtually anyone can see it?

Seriously, I think it is the parents right to post or not post their own children, it isn't your child, the child isn't NAKED or anything. *Shrugs* But anyway, you can decide for yourself. Let that parent decide for themselves. These days with facebook and such it is almost impossible to keep pictures from the net.

But honestly they're going to be putting pics up and such on MySpace and Facebook. You've got more to worry molestation/rape/abduction/murder wise from close family than you ever will from people over the net.

Well, I disagree. If you're happy with your pic online, that's great. You have the choice to put up your picture online, why not give the same right to one's kid? It's just a question of privacy. Decency, really. It's like being vegan and deciding the same thing goes for your kids.

It's just inconsiderate to think it's up to you, cause they're your kids. What the hell? It's not like they're your property o.O

1. So?

2. Exactly, *your age*. It's their choice. They (might or might not) know what it means, they're old enough to think it through.

My point is whether they will it or not they'll have their pic on the net many many many times throughout life. Posting a picture of them as a small child where the next year they'll look nothing like it isn't doing anything wrong to them. By the same regard do you wear a mask in public because it's not 'private'? A parent's job entails deciding what's best for their child, that's their deal not yours.

Well, at least in California they technically are property of the state!!! ^_^ Just sayin'....

Anyway, I understand your point but think about it this way - when kids are...well..kids, what choice DOESN'T their parent make for them? From what they eat, to who they can hang out with/play with, to on and on and on.
