Well if you're trying to keep it a secret then sure, but if Bcharacter decides they won't go down silently then Bcharacter should respond in public and preferably in a way that people realize what the heck is going on. Something between private response to Acharacter + a public *Bcharacter dashes out of the shadows, clearly agitated* to *bites the wrist of Acharacter that's holding a knife, hoping to win some time even though the darkness is likely to conceal them from most people* -- well, the latter option is kinda expressing a thought but it might be necessary to point out that it would be unrealistic for a person to just ignore the shadows and come to rescue.

Or, option three, they haven't got time to keep switching between talk-to-one and talk-to-all, because it takes five seconds per page-load, so just don't bother. Not sure if that counts as lazy in your book, but in mine it counts as dealing-with-lag.

Kinda like when folks spell "Wednesday", "wensday"?
I hate hunting whore. Especially in quiet towns. Double especially when you speak to a specific someone and in the same IG hour they hunt all the 12 species of animal and fall back asleep, ignoring you. God damn.

Well, English is a stupid language in that it implements letters that aren't pronounced. In fact I hear many things like boroughs are due to Dutch book press workers who got paid by the amount of letters so they made words longer to get more money.
It's indeed annoying when people hunt and don't reply. Bitches like that ought to be killed. Another annoying thing is when you're rp'ing like you're holding someone, then they hunt without rp'ing that they break free of your grasp. Happened to me once.

My rant of the morning:
First part:
Having used up all my minutes without noticing the night before- and having done so when I was in the middle of a FASCINATING discussion - then irrationally feeling guilty because I worried that the other discussion partner might think I passed out on them in midst of said discussion...feeling like I've been very rude indeed!
Second part:
Now having to wait 3 hours before I can continue the discussion, and being VERY impatient>.<

(You mean the thinker? I saw it before

When you hope for something, you often believe in something. When you believe in something, you often have pride in it. Being proud often leads to a hating of some group.
