Today has been worse than 10 Mondays. At least I've been able to eat....well, I've felt able to eat; took me over an hour to finish a cup of yogurt because of office BS. I've got Cantring and homework to do - leave me alone!

CN, I'll add a "go for it" concerning pursuing something you really enjoy. My job pays the bills and I could make 3x as much if I went elsewhere, but it's far from what I wanted to do when I first started uni.

@Comy: WTF? Why do longer nails not get as dirty as shorter ones? When I chewed my nails, there was no 'nail' for dirt to get under. Now I've got crazy black shit that I don't even know where it came from. I haven't even touched anything black! And they get in the way. Why do people even have nails? I'd rather have claws. Claws don't bend easy like nails.

I have no idea, but it drives me nuts. I'll be sitting there reading, not touching anything but the book and then, suddenly, black stuff! I like having nails because my fingers look weirdly stumpy if the nails aren't at least the current length, so much so that I refer to clipping my nails as chopping off my fingers because the perceived length difference is so large. They also made nifty weapons when I was a more violent person.

Shortish nails developing unidentified greasy black gunk has been a mystery to me for a while. longer than 1/16 of an inch, doesn't seem to generate so much gunk unless you have been digging in the dirt or taking apart cars. I would think skin cells, with fats and oils, but that doesn't seem to fit, meanwhile my short nails are dirty and need cleaning every day,

Yeah, Lakeside was fun. (Haven't heard the Navy band yet, but getting ready to.)
But spending the entire day in pure sun and refusing sunscreen....
I have raccoon face. Reeeeeeally bad.
And pretty much every square inch of exposed skin is now sunburnt. I am pink now. XD

Rant: I am restless! I am trying to work on something but it is not happening so there is this horrible, uncomfortable tension in my body as my mind slams into a wall over and over trying to spew forth this work. I wish I had a giant bowl of raspberries and blackberries to stress-eat my way through while I do this. Then, of course, I wouldn't be able to work because my fingers would be messy, but berriesssss. Or maybe carrots, but I don't think I can eat those anymore.

Thought: I may be seeing my fellow spawn soon and I shall have to try really, really hard not to burst out laughing when I see him. It's one thing to know he's turned himself into a not-so-little thug (his fondest dream since we were little children!) or to have seen pictures and entirely another to see it in person. Former roomie and I have not quite gotten to the stage of betting on how long it will take before he screws over my mother.

In regards to the super awesome support regarding p.chem:
It's just one class. One class that I'm honestly just not willing to do the year and a half left to get to it. I'm burned out on school, just eager to gtfo. My mind left me over a year ago and I just can't make myself get back into it. But, thanks for the support. As much as I love thermodynamics, it's just not worth the misery. Besides, i can always sit in on the class and geek out even if I don't meet the pre-reqs

Thought 1: I think the amount of legal documents on here that I've had to draft myself for the varying cases I've dealt with in the past almost two years, near the amount of science-y related stuff on my computer now. This makes me rather sad, though terribly amused since, ever since I can remember, we've always joked about me being a doctorslashlawyer when I grow up.

Thought 2:Speaking of legal stuff, I seem to be working up quite a lengthy rap sheet just in the past few years. I'm not sure how I should feel when I can say that I am no stranger to breaking and entering with total honesty. O.o

Rant: I was terribly amused when in the last 5 mins of work everyone seemed so shocked at my lack of being phased by a very large man shouting and ranting and cursing. I was just like whatever? He's a pretty cool dude, he was just grumpy and it's not like he was actually pissed at me. *shrugs* Besides, dude's an Army guy, I've dealt with cops and Marines a lot longer, I can handle an Army guy ;P

Passover countdown: 43 hours. One of my wife's twitter friends is coming over for the second seder, so I'll finally get to meet her. Exciting!

Our church is getting ready for the increase in attendance next weekend — an extra service, opening up another room for people to sit in and the sermon will be piped in via live video, that kind of stuff. Hooray for Chreasters and Easter Lilies! xD

Rant/Thought: Refusing sunscreen yesterday was really stupid. Pink raccoon face isn't going away (I usually tan when I burn), and so now I'm being forced to use aloe vera, which makes my face itch but I can't scratch it because it's so slimy. But at least it smells good.

I feel I really ruined my reputation of being a badass and breaking in to places when I got sidetracked playing with a pregnant kitty. She was really awesome and playful and has a thing for my shoes.
It was a sad moment when, in the middle of explaining to her why she has to stay there, I suddenly freeze, turn to look at my accomplice and have to ask, "Oh, f*ck, are those sirens!?"

Yeah....

S'okay, it was an ambulance and not headed in our direction.
