In Cantr I often find it cute and sexy when someone is stuttering, but in real life it's usually awkward and makes it harder to look at the person (I have trouble looking at people in general). I wonder what's the difference, why does my imagination make it more attractive than what it is in real life?

In Cantr, blind people are always young women who use every excuse they have to touch the faces, lips and eyelids of young men while being somehow also unaffected by blindness in every other aspect - dressing themselves, walking about, etc. In real life, however, blind people don't usually do flying ninja-kick backflip leaps out of trees onto unsuspecting parties sitting down below.

It's called "fantasy" for a reason.

When I played a blind girl way back, it was pretty frustrating because people wouldn't understand she was blind unless it was made very obvious. There were no custom descriptions at the time.

I fell asleep in two of my classes today. The kid next to me woke me up in first block and made me eat an apple....that kept me awake until after lunch in third block, where I just could not keep my head off of my purse (which I was using as a pillow). And during fourth I basically sat in the band library and pretended to reorganise folders of sheet music into alphabetical and score order.

This was in the band library, where we have four libraries' worth of music in there that's been building up over more than twenty years. We don't play even a twentieth of what we have. We have nine or ten filing cabinets full of music (a lot of which are out of print they're so ancient), and I have to log and alphabetise them all.

I feel like crap. I'm sleepy, and I'm in bad enough physical pain that I actually took Tylenol for it, something I usually try to avoid at all costs. And to top it off, I have five chapters to read for history with notes on some two-hundred concepts, out of which I got eighteen done yesterday in the eight hours after school I was home, and they're all due tomorrow at 9:00.
So no Cantr for me tonight.

I have this buddy who goes to a community college run by southern baptists, and he tells me that in every single class, they manage to connect every single assignment to the glories of God - which, discussions on if there is or isn't a God aside, must get old fast. We're talking about writing papers in math class about how the golden ratio proves God's existence, how the Civil War was punishment from God, etc.

It makes me grateful sometimes to think that, while UCF might not be the best university out there by far, it is at least a real university.
