My part is particularly difficult. By line count, it's the biggest in the play. There are about half dozen pretty long monologues. That's a big strain on a 48-year-old's brain. (case in point, I just went back and forth on what my age actually is, twice, when writing that sentence!) Maybe I'll be able to port some of the video to the web. I'm not sure....

Believe me, I agree with you, Armulus. I think movie actors have it way easier. That's why I'm hoping to be discovered by a major motion picture studio, so I don't have to do this on the stage any more (or, you know, work at my paying job, either
). But the difference is, we get to rehearse the thing for a month (and perform it, in our case, three to five times), so it does get engrained in you. And we don't have to worry about continuity problems, either....

Don't feel too bad - I can't remember my age half the time either. I was talking to my brother two nights ago and we were trying to figure out my sister's age. I say, "I think she's around 37" bro replies, "I just turned 36, nerd, she's pushing 40." I pause and say "Woah!! That's right, I'm 32! I feel old now."
And, I agree with the whole live performance being far more difficult than filmed. You only get one shot to get it right.
Also @ Indigo - marry me?
I've always thought I should hook up with either a massage therapist or chef.

And that's why we usually perform short plays. Our last spectacle was a serie of 5 short plays (10-15min) and another longer (not too much, just 25 min)
Now, we are going to start with a long one, (the one I was translating) but I don't like it... Do you have anyting interesting?

Neither do I... And when I remember it, I'd prefer to forgive it...

I like being short. I really like it. I mean... I don't have any problem with my heigh but...
Why all this job offers are only for taller people? I can promote a product, hand out flyers and give information the same... I don't need to be 10 cm taller or two sizes thiner (and I AM thin, seriously...)
