The reason why the hats are so is because in Galicia there is a myth called the "Santa Compaña", they are souls in torment who roam the forests (near cemeteries) and it's said that they wear robes with pointy hoods or "gorros de capirote" (pointed hats). The representation of the "Entierro de la Sardina" is a parody of death (symbolizing the burial of all that represents evil, vice and debauchery that emerged during the celebration of the Carnival) and of the "Santa Compaña" hence in many parts of Galicia are represented with these caps.

I wonder if this could be considered creepy but I was walking past a downstairs window that has the blinds open and saw a woman wearing a sleeveless top and I thought "woah, she has such sexy arms!" I felt tempted to stare some more but I was concerned she might notice. I know someone with similar arms. They have smooth skin and perfect shape, not flabby but not stick-like either.

I admit, the thong was the first thing I noticed.
