Heh... wish i was that age.

Ppl estimate me in my 30's now. I'm 27 FGS...And they used to estimate me 3-5 years younger...

What a harsh life can do to you. :(

I know exactly what you mean--if I don't tell people my age they think I'm in college.

Example: When I was shopping for another computer on the Internet, someone called me from a referral service, and we assumed I was in college--and that with hearing my voice! LOL

We're still friends. I designed his website soon after. It's here. My first professional design job. But I did it in exchange for a discount on my computer. A $1200 computer for $700. Unfortunately, I never got the $700 alone, so I'm still waiting to get my awesome computer to do graphics on. This one is my Cantr computer. LOL :D

Excuse ME.

MY cantr deserves only the best.

2.8 gHz, w/ HT and 800 mHz FSB
512M RAM
80G Hard drive
nVidia GeForce 5200 (not the greatest)
um...DVD drive and CD burner
and a Soundblaster Audigy 2 w/ 5.1 dolby digital surround.
XP Pro (if my university would let me I'd switch to Linux)

I wouldn't have spent the money (and actually should have bought a laptop) but I'd been saving up to go to europe but my trip got canceled 2 years running :-(
the compy was a consolation prize.

I don't know the exact specifics of my current system (my dad would rather redo my old computer there, then lend me some money to buy a new one.) but it has 3 hard drives other than the system components drive, a surround sound speaker system, a wireless keyboard and mouse, and XP Pro with a bunch of awesome software. :P

The motherboard is old, because of the reasons I said above. But it's okay for an old one, and it holds me over until I get my awesome one. :D

Not bad.

I've only got 1 hard drive but it'll work for now...

I don't use wireless bc it interferes with my speakers or something. Besides, I only use my computer at my desk.

I do use a thumb-trackball mouse, though, which nobody else knows how to use...means people don't ask to use my compy very much.

I use a thumb trackball mouse too--why does no one know how to use it?

Nice. I like it; can't see how everyone likes using the normal mice so much.

I know--your wrist hurts like crap after a while!

No wonder my mom has carpal tunnel.

Speaking of my mom, I was just greeted with the lovely sound of her alarm ringing for her to wake up! :D

OK. Completely offtopic ofcourse, but upgrading a computer can be really cheap.

New MoBO, processor and AGP card and yer ready.

And I hate trackballs.
