Anything going under my or someone else's skin
I had this nightmare when I was about 6, that I walked into the living room and my mom and dad were watching TV, it was a nature documentary and it said, 'the small "stinger" penetrates under the skin, causing great distruction.' I remember the tone of voice very well. There was a graphic image of how it goes. Then there was a picture of an African girl standing in the woods or something, then we move to a yellow field, where we see an African man, we hear the girl screaming and the man starts running... And I knew she'd been stung. ...I don't know, maybe I really saw something... maybe it wasn't a dream. But I don't know of any insect that would crawl inside of the wound they've made. It wasn't a leech, it was a mosquito-like thing.

There are flies that lay larvae under the skin...that doesn't scare me though. I went to have the booster shots for several of the vaccines I had this cummer and I was still slightly nervous but much stronger than ever in the past. I think I'm overcoming my fear...at least when Joan (the nurse) is giving me the vaccine :D .
