After a 5 week break, i'm finally starting to make some progress on my game again.

Also, i'm trying a real attempt at growing a beard. I think it's actually coming a long better than i expected.

*yawns* First day of classes. Not only am I ridiculously unprepared, I didn't sleep at all last night because the boyfriend was being an ass. I didn't even manage to eat/drink this morning, which I'll regret later because I can't just buy food on campus and eat it anymore. On the plus side, my first class only lasted 35 minutes and the professor is pretty nifty. I can only hope that my second class (whichisfourhoursfromnowargh) doesn't run until five and doesn't require me to introduce myself because I will likely have started to lose language by then.

I hate when TAs/professors use "let's go around the room and introduce ourselves" as a way to fill in the first day. If all they want to do is go over the syllabus and not teach, then just let people leave early.

Thankfully my classes are online this semester.

Ugh, me too. No one in that room cares about whatever tidbits of information the other people are sharing during those introductions. My professor from earlier was really insistent that we ask him questions about his personal life, though, which was...weird.

I'm taking one online class this semester and am working on the obligatory "introduce yourself and reply to two other introductions!" BS.

This could probably go in the cantr related category, but I didn't know where to put it. I was just thinking how much I like having new characters at places I use to live. I really wish some places had more knowledge of their history though. I remember going to a town that i use to rule on another character and asking what a certain statue was for. Not one character knew.
