I just wanted to thank my friends, all of them. The ones I have close, and the ones who are supporting me from the distance, specially the ones I've met here. You know who you are. I love you *quickly wipes a rebellious tear out, and smiles*

Sounds rough =\

I wish you luck in your move and would even offer to help, if I could. lol

Long day today. Woke up, went to school, cleaned the art room, ate chips, locked myself in a practice room and played scales, went home, sat and worked on my laptop for an hour, got dressed (out of my casual stuff and into formal dress clothes), rode an hour and a half to a high school two counties away, played more scales, went to dinner, went back and played jazzy scales, an hour's ride back home to Wal-Mart to buy some groceries (and experience terrible service again), and finally back home to fall asleep in bed with my Snickie (the cat).

And I have a quiz tomorrow in two major classes, as well as the obligation to sit through sectionals with stuck-up upper classmen (so what if they're seniors? Can they play clarinet?) while I'd much rather be practicing the first movement of my solo for solo & ensemble.

All-in-all, two really great days. :)

^ What he said... Don't forget to send me your address. I've got my equipment ready for this weekend.. :D

TotD: Snow!!!! Yay! Now someone fix that school website so I can find out whether P will get to stay at home and build a snowman and have a snowball fight with her best friend! As for me, I'll have to go to work and it will be just 3 or 4 of us, the left being stranded at home. No such luck for me (the office is 7mins walk away) but I am sooo rolling in the snow once I'm back! :D
Edit: P's at school and I am at work. And it's white white white outside! :)

I'm annoyed that England came last in the World Cup bidding process. I knew we wouldn't win, as FIFA have no interest in taking the competition to a country where the media wants to expose all the corruption... but last? We had the best bid technically (according to FIFA), the best bid financially (according to FIFA) and a remarkable presentation (according to the FIFA Don, Sepp Blatter) and the biggest celebrity backing. Finishing last just smacks of politics...

Maybe they thought shining a spotlight on Russia for a few weeks would be good for the country (probably the same argument as to why the Olympics were in Beijing).

It actually was what I picked.

I can't believe the UK and Australia got 3 votes between them though. Evidently didn't play the game right.

...and the first thing I thought of was Cantr. I feel like a dreadful person :\ But in real life, people actually DO kill people with crossbows and escape in a van, apparently.

Should have taken that bill on the subsidization of kite shields more seriously. Did anyone see which direction they went?

It snowed here a lot a couple days ago. What I like is after it's stopped snowing and it's warm enough for the roads to melt (at least with the help of plowers), but there's still lots of snow on the ground. :)
Here, it was more like a foot of snow. I'm of the people shoveling people's sidewalks and driveways, through a lawn company. So now I get more money when it snows a lot. :)
