I find it incredible that neo-Nazi's could gain a foothold in your country after what the Nazi's did to it. Then again, people generally suck, so I shouldn't be surprised.

I have an interview today for a new job. :/ It's far from ideal but I can't not take it, if I'm offered it. Very mixed feelings about that...

And....I'm totally thrilled that my Dad surprised me by buying me a shotgun today (for home defense - I've been wanting one for a long time). He's the best.

Funny you posted a Terminator clip. I've been wanting to watch those movies lately since Linda Hamilton's been appearing on Chuck. I think she's also done an episode or two of Weeds but I'm behind a season on that show.

I have been offered the job, but the terms aren't that great. They are offering me a grand less (but 2,5k more than what was advertised) than what I asked for per annum, a cut I am not prepared to take, at the same time I do need a job... I have never had to negotiate pay before, and I am dreading it. Yet I know that I would beat myself up about it if I just accept it.
Hell, I used to negotiate damages and costs on behalf of others, I should be able to do something similar for myself.

I am exactly the same! Ask me to defend the rights of the people, and I am a real fighter then. When it's just me.... Meh... But a friend said a fool could work for nothing. He is right and I do value my work, so should others.
I have been thinking about this and I decided that it is not just for me... It will make a difference for my little one, too. That has motivated me to pick up the phone and give it a try.
