Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Sorry I've not been on in a while...been going crazy over my job, and it was tearing me apart, so I quit. Then my boyfriend, who I still love very much, decided to break up with me. I'm struggling so hard.
As sad as it is, I don't have anyone else to turn to. I don't know what to do. I'm losing my mind and I can't stop crying. What should I do?
I hate my life.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Take it one day at a time. Look for something good in each day, look hard if you have to. Plan things to look forward to, small things that give you simple pleasure. Take time to allow yourself to be sad and give yourself permission to cry, to be angry and to be imperfect. Visit someone whose company you enjoy and remember that it's important to keep up girlfriends next time you are in love and in an all consuming relationship, because it will happen again (love, I mean). No advice can take away the pain, but knowing other have been there may help. I listen to Airsupply themed stuff and eat icecream too.
Reveal to me the mysteries
Can you tell me what it means?
Explain these motions and metaphors
Unlock these secrets in me
Describe the vision, the meaning is missing
Won't anybody listen?

Ice cream is always good.
Congratulations to Seko.
So....I got some jazz accomplished today....enough to make me happy and to motivate me to practice more on that piece I used to call a nightmare.
AP World History, on the other hand.... I don't know what to do with that class. I'm up late again trying to finish paper after paper and getting nowhere because I'm too sleep-deprived. Remind me not to let myself get swamped like this ever again. Please.
The sad thing is that I say this every year, that I'm going to be better about my procrastinating problems, and then every year they progressively get worse. Or did I mention that already?
World Lit I'm a lot closer to caught up in. I had to give a speech today that I completed at midnight last night, and it turned out well, I thought.
And on one last note before I'm sucked back into the monotony of reality.....
I have decided that if there is a language I must learn, it is lojban.

Congratulations to Seko.

My cat broke into the catnip and ate all my Chinese food after he woke up covered in catnip. Bastard cat. I think he may have a problem with drugs.

Congratz, Seko!
I've been up since 2am... It is now past 6am and I have to get up in less than 2 hours... I am not looking forward to the day ahead.

The last time I posted on the thread "Religion" was August 7, 2008. I think I forced myself to stop posting on that thread.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I'm (supposed to be) doing a huge long chart about the world religions during the classical era right now.
I never thought I would find religion so tiresome. Normally I find it an interesting subject, but this is simply too much.
Six religions (well, technically two of them are philosophy, but they're listed as religions on this sheet; gotta love the ancient Chinese). Six dimensions for each. Nine hours to finish. It must be complete, it must be accurate, if I want a halfway decent grade.
That means thirty-six different topics I have to write on. As of right now, I have fifteen of those done, since around 4pm, perhaps a little later, with a few distractions thrown in.
-sighs and continues working, half asleep-

I took a religious class and found it very interesting (it was an easy class) Lol, and I just read an article saying that atheists and agnostics know more about religion than religious people. At least you can be above the average for religious knowledge.
