The boyfriend found an apartment! If all goes according to plan, we'll be spending the day before and the day of Thanksgiving packing and then moving on the Friday after or at least sometime that weekend, depending on the people we'll have to rope into helping us. Good thing we don't celebrate holidays. And the best part is: It's NOT a dump and it's NOT in the scary part of this area!
Aaaand...begin rambling:
I had to quit eating last Thursday because my throat refuses to allow me to swallow food. It's lasted longer this time than the last time it happened, but it's okay because I was able to eat a couple slices of ham of the soy variety this weekend and I can now manage to swallow something thicker than water. If I toss some almond milk, two bananas, and some peanut butter in the blender when I get home from school, I should be fine. I'm not fatigued or woozy and I haven't collapsed, which all usually happen when I don't eat for just one day. It's like my body has done some sort of spiffy trade-off. Now my allergies are acting up, but that somehow seems to have prevented my throat from swelling to the point that I can hardly breathe today. Or maybe I'm just getting better.
Also, I found out that I didn't actually get an 86 on my stats test. He just hadn't finished grading everything and it's really a 96, which makes a lot more sense. I got a 47/45 on my second test and supposedly got a 103/100 on my third test, but I don't trust that grade since I'm certain that I bombed the last question on that test and probably got a couple points off on the other seven. Not looking forward to seeing my actual grade once she gets that sorted. It's probably somewhere around 80. Fourth test is on Thursday and the fifth is on October 12, though I'm not sure I should count that in round 1 of tests since that class only has two.
Why, yes, I did just go through the stylesheet to find the right color to make this text.Rant: Can't. Stop. Sneezing.
Edit because I spam this thread too much: I'm sitting in class trying not to panic right now because of my throat problems. I was feeling really good for the first half of today, but then my throat started swelling up and drying out around three hours ago. This is probably my own fault for having the thought that maybe I was finally getting better. I can still breathe okay, but not nearly as well as I'd like.
