It seems as if misfortune always follows me around when I'm hungry. Normally, the line I usually go in to get food is the line everybody chooses to cut me in. So I decided today that I was going to try the other line in hopes of getting my food faster so I could get out of everybody's way that much sooner. But, noooo. Suddenly the line I'm normally in is moving at lightning speed, and everybody's cutting in front of me. So I not only got cold pizza, but I got BURNT pizza that everybody else had avoided because it was the only thing left, other than cheeseburgers, and I don't like cheeseburgers (I'm a voluntary pescetarian). And I had about half a minute to eat it, so I ended up wasting half of it. Thus, I have come to the conclusion that people hate me and want to see me starve, so they purposely wait to see which line I stand in just so they can cut in front of me. *nods nonchalantly and matter-of-factly*

What kills me just as much if not more are the people who buy three or four slices just to be able to say they did, and then they throw half of it away. Meanwhile, I'm sitting there utterly ravenous because I've only had a small, overpriced bag of chips to eat and sometimes disgusting, metallic-tasting water (that is now contaminated with moldy sweet tea-syrup) to drink.

After I got my internet back I stayed up for three days straight...just passed out this morning.
Eugh, the Cantr addiction.
And when I woke up it was FREEZING. I mean wow.

Rude people suck...they deserve what they get

After I got my internet back I stayed up for three days straight...just passed out this morning.

Is that an exaggeration or did you really manage to stay up for three days straight on Cantr addiction?!

No, it really was three days, but to be fair I watched an episode of true blood and...'wrestling' with my boyfriend when it got slow. Also, I got hungry this morning and made three batches of muffins, 4 things of ramen, and about a pound of taco meat for breakfast. Then I passed out.

That is awesome :lol:

I was able to go six months straight with only very, very little sleep each night, maybe an hour or two. My schedule was literally work-friends-party lol and was all made possibly with a combination of alcohol, no doze and a shitload of fun. Of course....I paid for it...crashed hard after all that, was forced to take two weeks off work and cut way back on the fun time.

Oh, I've done the partygirl route too, but that is infinitely more exhausting. Somehow the morning afters take so much out of you, no matter where you are or what you've done.

Oh yes...waking up to people scattered all around your place...people sleeping in bathtubs, outside on furniture...and then the whole "trying to remember if what happened, really happened" routine.

But eh, its all in fun, and no point to life if you cannot have some of that, right?

Snickie, is that school food? How awful. Makes me think of this documentary we've been watching at English class. In Finland school food is more balanced than in the US or Britain. Hamburgers and pizza are veeery unusual.

But anyway, people tend to always cut in lines and generally move in front of me since they want to get food together with their friends and I don't have any friends. I've been wondering how much time I lose during a lifetime in standing in lines because of those delays.

I really don't want to quit Cantr, but I'm starting to feel bad about the lack of attention I give my characters nowadays. I spent maybe a total of 2 hours on the computer every day, and most of that is catching up with friends and family or looking at Google maps.

Unfortunately yes, it is our school food. The best food in the short lines that actually move. There is more healthy food in other lines, but they're so freakishly long and the food is so disgusting that it's not worth the wait. So basically, unless you get there first (which is impossible to do when your class is the farthest away from the cafeteria), you're stuck eating junk food and only getting about two minutes to eat.

Story of my lunch. All of my friends are either in different lunches or social butterflies, so they sit with huge groups of people I'd be completely lost with. So I move around the cafeteria literally looking for empty tables, and I just leave if I can't find one.

I probably waste at least an hour and a half if not more waiting in the lunch line each week.

I honestly don't know how I survived high school lunches. I think junior year I started making my own or just grabbing whatever I could from home during the morning rush. Pretty sure my freshman or sophmore year was sustained on those giant chocolate chip muffins that are like 1000 calories and mickey mouse icecream. Same situation...the junk food section was always the fastest to get through.

I ate with the goths, nerds, a few jocks and cheerleaders who didn't buy into the cliques, and other "outcasts" who just didn't give a crap about popularity. It was an interesting mix of people.

Ahhh.. the advantageous of being kosher. I NEVER ate the cafeteria offerings.. always brown-bagged it.
