Cantr can make it interesting to look up information on animals you're not very familiar with.

That was like me and the mouflon. I thought it was a bird!

Totally a ram/sheep and not a bird.

The whole "I think its a bird" thing woulda stopped if Cantr told me what animal gave me what when it was killed.

That's nice... and I knew about that. I'm talking..

"You killed X and got Y." Similar to how OTHER projects work... ya know?

Ya kill like 4 animals get a lot of random stuff in your inventory and... which who gave what? BUT... whatever.

ALSO, the next time someone says something about realism... I'ma point them to the animal list and tell them to shut up.

So due to a mis-communication between Allen and myself... his business insurance lapsed at the end of January. So for the last two weeks I have been talking to the insurance adjuster to get it reinstated. I paid her last week and was told that I would have to pay the insurance company itself soon cause we would then be considered late on the insurance again. So I go to the online site to make a payment and it is still showing it was canceled!! WTF.. I mean seriously. I just paid them last week.

Oh and on a different note.. For those that don't know me well.. I watch kids in my home among several other jobs. Had a parent come over yesterday to meet me. She stated that she would be bringing her almost 2 year old over this morning. Well knowing the time that she had to be at work and all.. well that time passed and she never called or showed up. I could have slept in for an extra hour. I mean I understand that parents can change their mind, I have done it myself... BUT I have the respect to at least call and tell them I am not going to show up. Did she do that... uhh no. So I can already see how this day is turning out. I can only hope and pray that it turns around.

Why do people insist on paying in small coin in the express lane at the grocery store? They often behave as if they think they're being helpful somehow by making everybody wait four minutes while they dig out 3.46 in dimes, nickels and pennies, then another couple of minutes while the cashier sorts the resulting mess into the little coin sections of their till.

Argh.

Isn't express lane just limiting the number of items you can have, not your method of pay?

Is your food going to go bad because Mrs. Smith in front of you doesn't want her pennies anymore? That's not as bad as drive thru's and people who order 18 things, and don't even get out their cash until they get to the window. But then again, you're in your car getting food, does it really matteR?

I have a large pile of 1p and 2p coins on my desk... I have no idea what to do with them. I usually try to pay using the most efficient combination of notes/coins that I have on hand, to avoid small coins piling up.

The thing is if you don't count the money in your hand but put them on the tray there might be for coins, the cashier can count them at the same time you do, so they won't have to be counted twice. That'll save time.

I think the reason why people don't generally do that is that they assume that if you put down the first coin or coins, the cashier will assume it's enough to cover the price because she has gotten used to people not putting their money down on the tray before they have counted it's enough.

I understand how you feel, Dudel. On average you will do it eventually, then come back once you get over it.

Edit: or should I say, go back?
