I could be doing something useful on my day off, in fact I have a lot of things that I should be doing, but instead I'm drawing a diagram of Collatz Conjecture. Damn xkcd...

I wonder why there is no arrow pointing from the one to the four.

Because it would form an infinite loop, so according to Wikipedia, there's an agreement that it will stop at 1. Although I think it would do no harm if you started from 1 that it would go to 4, 2 and back to 1, just as long as it won't get stuck doing it several times.

I'm pretty sure I'm fucking things up, but I can't be bothered to care. I'm so run down and exhausted that every time I move it feels like ten things break in me. For the first time in my life I feel like if I had a hole, I would crawl into it and bury myself alive, just to be able to stop, but if I were to stop I feel I'd go crazier.

Blah.

If I want to hope for better things and brighter days, people shouldn't get in the way of that. Hope =/= believe, and I know that, so where's the damn harm?
