Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
Oh, I was going to write about socks. I have this thing that I hate throwing things away unless they're completely broken, but I have some socks that I've disliked ever since I got them, so I tend to wear them less than my favorite socks so they also get worn out slower. They're the kind of socks that are too short at the ankle, too tight, non-flexible and feel solid. They often have some sort of a pattern at the ankle, which makes it even less flexible. I also hate socks that are too big so that you might have to fold away extra somewhere and they're spinning around the foot when they're so damn big. Socks I like the most go well past the ankle, are flexible, not too thin or thick and don't have icky lint on the inside. Stripes are good but other kind of patterns are bad since they generally make it harder and bumpier or leave tiny holes where the threads change. Also I don't like it if there are rubber threads at the ankle because as I mentioned earlier, my ankles are very hairy so the ankle hairs get stuck in the rubber threads and cause itching or it might hurt to take the socks off. Previously my favorite socks were gray Adidas socks but the pair I have have at least one hole in the bottom. I think I remember a pair of socks with gray and turquoise stripes, I don't remember where they are currently but they are my favorite socks because they're flexible and not too thin and not too short. But the problem with socks is that if you buy a good pair, they might not sell the same kind of socks next time you go to the store.

I barely can write with my usual care with proper word morphology because of an empty bottle that lies by the table. Hehehe, birthdays are fun.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
My mom's dogs got poisoned somehow. 3 of them have been having seizures all day. I've been bled on, drooled on, and peed on trying to help any way I could. I walked for an hour all around the property because a couple dogs were still missing. The alpha male our our pack, Rio (a Pitt), led me straight to one of them. I ended up carrying the seizing (60 lb) dog for at least 10 minutes back to the house. My arms hurt, my legs hurt, and my whole body is shaking from nerves. The poor dogs tore their paws up seizing on the cement. They're now missing toenails and their paws look like meatloaf. They've stopped breathing several times and we've had to get them going again.
Oddly enough, one of the 3 that was sick, is miraculously better now. Here's hoping for the others. *holds up a glass of Jack* Cheers.

His nick was Blaizer, from #fto.
XD I kept him ranting for almost an hour, just by replying "cool" or "yeah" every 5~10 minutes.

2 of the 3 sick dogs got better...the third didn't make it. Alpha...he was my favorite. It's not going to be the same without him around anymore...and now 2 -more- of our dogs have gone missing. Probably out in the woods dying right now. We're pretty sure it was strychnine poisoning by one of our neighbors. Son of a bitch better hope I don't find out who he is.

How someone could be so mean to such cute animals is beyond me. Sorry about Alpha, and the others.

Re: Thought or Rant of the day!!!
I have a question that remains unanswered so far:
Why does the IRC conversations always fall into the 'language pit' ?
(I mean, either that, or Anti tells me to shut up on some taboo subject.)

Thanks Mikki, and Rebma...
The two missing dogs are still missing. We assume they're dead in our neighbor's field somewhere...that marks the count at 3 dead dogs, and 2 that recovered. *sigh* Although one that recovered is still not feeling well...he's too exhausted to even move much, but the other one is almost completely back to normal.

People can be so cruel.
On a side note, my best friend apparently knows more about what's going on with my family than I do because she uses Facebook.
I'm the one they all call for tech support, but yet they're Facebook gurus and I rarely log on there. I didn't know until tonight (when my friend told me) that my dad is on Facebook now.
