Dudel wrote:HA! That's awesome. I wish there were laws in our country about being a retarded prick, too.

How do you think those come about? Just as the stupid laws did that actually protect people robbing others. Such as that famous case where a man fell through a sky-light while trying to break in, breaking his leg and suing the homeowner. Thereby setting precedent protecting future criminals in similar cases.
People talking about it and doing something. Unfortunately, bad people have more motivation for some reason...
Hell I know of a case near me of a peeping tom. The girl found out and set up a camera in her window to catch him. When she brought that tape to court, she lost her case. His lawyer won the case by saying HIS privacy was violated because the camera was purposely set to catch only him.

The news my friend. as fabricated as it is, they're getting the pictures somewhere... In papers, on tv, on the internet. People are always talking about it. In my small town of Brownsburg-Chatham We've had many casualties ourselves. One a friend of the family.

Either way, those pawns risk their damn lives every day because they want to make the world a better place. Whether thats what they're used for or not, I'd say that its a damn good, honorable reason, and they deserve some respect. Just because some of em ain't any good, don't mean they're all bad.

The Soldiers, as I said, are not the problem (not all). Making the WORLD a better place is a matter of perspective. I'm sure the children don't see it that way. I wanted to join the military about 2 years ago as both my grandfathers had around my age. They're not alive anymore both died of natural causes. My whole family kept me out of this war. I have to say I'm glad they did. I don't want to fight to be rich. I'd rather live poor and in peace. So far I'm only halfway there...

Isn't our legal system great? He who has the better argument, wins. He who has the better argument, however, probably has the most money. GOD BLESS AMERICA!

The news isn't allowed in my home. No fear-mongering allowed from any source. The news breeds stupid. It lets people form someone else's opinion and then bitch about stuff they don't (fully) understand.

I'll stay full on ignorant of a situation, thanks. Call me paranoid, but I don't want someone trying to mess with my head by telling some fear/hate/racist/whatever BS under the guise of journalism.

Notice the word "guise" is used alot... this is because I'm not retarded and know how things ACTUALLY ARE. Then again, people think I'm paranoid.

Oh and... I do love my country... I'm just not a retarded sheep.

It's mainly my personal opinion, as I said it has even had an impact on my tiny community. And if you love your country so much, How can you make a conscious decision to continue following the American stereotype and say you're not a sheep? That doesn't show love, that shows apathy.

It's the exact same as woman that's being abused and NO ONE, NOT A SOUL does anything. Even pick up the phone. "I'd rather not get involved". "It's not my business". "Well, by the time they get here...". "But then I need to give a statement..."."What if this"?
Or the worst one:"I just don't care".

It's not the ACTIONS of BAD people, but the INDIFFERENCE of GOOD people that is the true evil.

Snake, you are confusing one argument with another one.

The people that don't do anything and have those arguments ARE the retarded sheep.

Know why?

Cause the MEDIA has them SCARED to do anything about it.

Seriously, attention paid would be something nice to have.

When something IS within my power and an action of another "isn't cool" then it WILL be stopped. HOWEVER, I can't exactly stop my government from sending troops over to claim oil or stop said troops from doing what they did, CAN I?

No... I can't, so I just have to deal with that... as do you.

I forgot to mention, today is the 2000th day since I registered to Cantr. 2000! My first two characters would have turned 120 today if they were still alive.

I liked the "if statement", Seko.

That's awesome, either way. Don't you have characters in the 100+ anyway?
