Being sick! I have a cold for three days now and each day I feel worse or the symptoms evolve in some way that makes me feel worse.
It starts with just a runny nose and you're thinking "Maybe I'm not getting sick. Maybe I'm just alergic to something." But then suddenly that very night you wake up from a dead sleep because you can't breathe and your one nostril is closed off which is the most annoying thing ever. You blow your nose but nothing ever really comes out. The next day your throat starts to hurt and your eyes water like you've got a fever but you don't actually have a fever....But now your nose starts to run like crazy, in fact, you can't quit blowing the damn thing and you start to develop sores on it from blowing it sooooo much.
Now today my lung feels like it's going to get coughed up and my head aches.
I should be thankful because I haven't actually gotten a cold in like two years. This stinks! I hate colds.
Edit: I think I'd even prefer the flu over a cold.

I voted which means opening a new window, forgot all about cantr, go and watch Lost, play PC game, do some stuff....
Damn!!! From 197 mins to 0 mins without a single action!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course I'm on my third set of credits anyway, all of which have been pointless...
It's a mighty long time till reset....
Still my boss will be happy tomorrow!

Ummm phalynx.. next time, do not press any buttons in cantr at all.. then just ensure you carefully close the window- no buttons. Relogin starting at the www.cantr.net page.. And if you were on 197 minutes, you won't lose any at all. Because basically put, Cantr goes 'Ahh, he's on 197 minutes' from the last time you pressed a button. When you press another button, Cantr goes 'Right. The time between 197 minutes and when he pressed a button is two minutes. This means he/she has 195 minutes'. So what could have happened to you was '197 minutes, and he pressed a button, and it's been 5 hours since he last did something.. that leaves 0!! YAY SUCKED IN!!!' lol.. because.. err. cantr does that.

(muttering under his breath) Bloody stoopid system anyway....
I wish I didn't even have to log in.... mind cantr has taught me to overcome a lifelong inability to remember numbers... well remember anything as it goes.
Thought of the day (from Asimov but I suspect this applies to some players):

Dear Developers of Yahoo Instant Messenger,
You have developed a wonderful piece of software that promises numerous features that I will never need to use. It has a lovely shiny interface that looks professional, advanced, and beautiful. The animated smileys make me giggle everyday, I wouldn't trade them for the world.
The most amazing thing about your software is that it is less stable than anything Microsoft has ever published. I just wanted to congratulate you on achieving the impossible there. Very nicely done. It often disconnects 25 times per hour in the morning. And just when it seems to become stable, it locks up and signs me out one hour into a Literati game with my beloved girlfriend.
Regretfully yours,
wichita

Yahoo doesn't do that for me. *Refuses to use MSN and MSN's smileys are fugly.*
Maybe you just have bad luck.

I hate people.

Yahoo has been fiddling around with stuff over the past week. And it has been disconnecting a lot, it'll be okay after a day or so. Mine did the same in the middle of last week, it's been fine since Saturday.
And i hate MSN anyway, the latest version is a blatant copy of Yahoo and yet still not as good.

How many guesses do i get as to which ones you're referring to?

And my rant of the day...
Steam.
It had some weird error that prevented it from starting. So i put the dvd in and ran the installation and selected repair, it made no difference. So i thought "i know, i'll remove the client software and reinstall it" And what did it do? It uninstalled not only Steam, but Half Life 2 and all the addons i had for it as well, not even asking me if i wished to keep my ****ing savegames. Grrr.......

Not exactly a rant, more of a whine.
Today I'm skipping cool. Long did it take... two and a half weeks.... I wish I wouldn't make a habit out of it but that's too much to hope for.
I cried at school yesterday when I couldn't get a simple java exercise to work. It said it cannot locate the class where to get the read integer function, though the said class was in the same folder and there was even a link that says locate source and when you click on it, it opens the document in the exact right spot. Yet it dares to claim it cannot see it. Also I was using NetBeans and we have been using Eclipse previously, so I couldn't open the earlier files to look for hints.
