I don't mean reminiscing here and there. I mean the people who cannot reply to any post without somehow bringing up their beloved chars. There are several chars I miss from my old acct, so I understand the connection. Like I said, it's probably just me who gets irritated by it.

Shh! Yes, I'm back. In moderation.

Okay, now I have one of my own, again.
Friends who disappear when most needed with no explanation. Ones who you try and try to get ahold of, and they never respond. They're never home when you know they're in town. You know, the ones who just seem to ignore you, but you know they're not busy. Then, after all that, they have the audacity to come to your house and ask why you're hiding from them...
I swear I'll kick his ass yet...

What? And Pisc, I never shut mine off during a thunderstorm. I have a good surge protector with a backup power supply to give me time to shut my machine down properly in case of blackout.

Beg to differ, friend of mine is currently remodeling her house due to a lightning strike. Lightning struck it directly. Took out all her sockets, blew up her computer (which luckily she wasnt around), and set it and part of the house on fire. Her carpets were even black around the outlets. Had a tough time believing it til I went to her house the other day.

*sigh* I was trying to be ironic.
Wiro only asked if it is possible do die while using a computer during a thunderstorm. That's of course possible. You can die eating strawberries with cream on your balcony, too.
The question if you can die at your computer during a thunderstorm by lightning strike is a different one.

Pretty in pink.
