I think they got Pirates of the Caribbean out on DVD in record time didn't they? It's only been a couple months since it has been completly out of the theaters. To rack up during Christmas season I guess.

Anyway, I love movies, and here's some I think everyone should see:

The Princess Bride
All of Mel Brooks' movies
All Monty Python movies
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels
Snatch
All of Quentin Tarantino's movies
Suicide Kings
Event Horizen
Full Metal Jacket
A Clockwork Orange
Rocky Horror Picture Show
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
American Beauty
All the "Friday" movies
All of Kevin Smiths movies
Very Bad Things
Night of the Living Dead (original)
All of John Carpenter's movies
Everything based on a Stephen King novel
Everything based on a Michael Crichten novel

...and many more that I just can't think of right now.

I guess most people like the "rush" being scared gives a person, which reminds me, The Ring is another execllent movie...only one latly to actually "scare" me...I about freaked at the end when that damn b***h started crawling out of the TV again, she was sopposed to be DEAD.

Im a fan of Final Destination 1 & 2. I don't know if they were meant to be scary, but my god..I nearly crapped myself at the theatre. 8) Even though I was expecting blood and such, nothing could have prepared me for the things that happened in those movies. LOL

I haven't seen the second one yet, but the first one was pretty cool, I loved the sceen where the woman stepped off the curb and the bus got her , I watched that sceen frame by frame one time and it's crazy how real it looks.

there are no scary movies. There are movies that pretend to be scary but they aren't. The only movies that come close are "suspense" movies, but no good one has been made since the 80's. :(

Greatest scary movie by far;

EVIL DEAD

Nothing will be as scary as that movie the first time you see it. Well, except maybe the Excorist.

I watched those with my girlfriend last week...she kept jumping and screaming whenever someone's brains splattered all over the place. I was a little grossed out by some of the parts...and coming from me, that's saying a lot. I probably would have soiled my pants had I watched it on a huge movie theater screen.

I'm not a big fan either, actually
when i was 13
I saw star trek: first contact.

and the borg chick's twitchy spine gave me nightmares.

prolly didn't help that my friend's guest bedroom had a little red nightlight in it *still shudders at the memory*
