In short, the Liberals were very close to an opportunity to oust the current government. While the vote wasn't directly about the current government itself, it could have led to a vote of no confidence, which in turn could overthrow the current gov. Since it wasn't a routine election type of situation, it had the interest level that might accompany a UK PM almost getting booted by his/her party, a US Pres coming quite close to impeachment, etc., but on a larger scale.

I find it weird that you always make an effort to go out of your way to prove your superiority over america Schme. I know English isn't your first language, so that means one of two things to me. You're from the predominately French speaking realm of Canada, which brings to mind Quebec who is fighting for independence, or from a country somewhere overseas where people weren't happy how they were treated by their government so everyone makes up for their anger by bashing Old Glory. What have WE, the american players of the free online game Cantr, done personally to anger YOU, in a way that you feel is necessary to constantly remind us how much the country I wake up in everyday, the country that I particularly love, and the country that I even like, sucks?

I know I've personally bashed you, I just don't care for online arguments you start, and I don't like you because of it, there is nothing more to it. But no one here attacked you first. What did AoM do to you? Specifically, what did Nitefyre do? Serenity, Wichita? I assume we all did something to bother you because if it were individual it would be in a PM.

And finally, I question your morales. I know you are not a person of Christian belief[EDIT: not saying its a bad thing!], but you have posted long fables from varying religions. Now are you doing so to teach others your belief, or are you posting it for attention? All religions show of respecting others, and this is clearly not what you display by spitting on everything that exists in my country. So what makes you immune to caring about respect?

This forum was created for a free online game by Jos. I like tha game, and this forum is helpful, but I don't see how your post had any positive effect on either this game or the continuating progress of it.

Sorry for making a long post, it sounds like a rant, and it might be, but I just want to hear Schme's even longer response to answer what we did to him and to rebuddle against every last word I said because I obviously don't know what I am talking about. If anyone wants to play Cantr, I'll probably be in there, doing something productive.

Again, you have suggested that your nation, the most powerfull country in the world, home to hundreds of millions of different people, with over two hundred years of history under it's belt, is embodied in it's privatly owned cable news stations. I have to say, were I an American, I would be exetremly insulted.

Do you really believe that? Is the home of the free, the country you love, really all about a bunch of rich guy's cable news stations? I can say with totall certainty that I know that a good deal of Americans would not agree with you.

And so know I'm so crazy immigrant of a Quebec nationalist, am I? Where the hell did that come from? And now all foreigners "unite by bashing old glory"? That is the kind of attitude which will make your quip reality. It's a good thing that most Americans are not as xenophobic as yourself.

Even where I either of those things, what does it have to do with anything? Where does it enter into the equation?

And as for me not being christian, where do you come off saying that? You don't know me! I never told you, and therefore, you do not know! Where you come off labeling me as unchristian, I do not know.

Long fables from various religions? I posted one short story from that was from no religion! ONE! And it is not propagating any religion, nor is it from any religion. Just because an aboriginal guy writes something doesn't make it a traditional story! They can be authors too. I mean, really man, where did that come from?

And even where it from a perticular religion, how does that make me a religious fanatic trying to convert everyone, or trying to get attention from everyone? You may have noticed that almost everyone in the first world has read at least some Greek myths and legends, or what have you.

I had a huge post typed here that I deleted at the last minute.

In short it was a rant stating my opinion that most people just need to keep their fucking opinions to themselves, along various other anti-democratic political philosophies and a cry against the dogmatic reverance of individuality and the perpetuation of ignorance. I realized that it would just turn me into just another poster on this bullshit forum that routinely piss me off on a daily basis now. I wish I was a better person than that.

I personally don't defend America on every issue. I don't see the need to rush to defend something just because it's American. There are indeed cases where the American government has acted in a way I disagree with. On the same hand, I will disrespect someone who rushes to bash something just because it's American. It seems to me that your constant attacks on America are done just to piss off the Americans on this forum. I haven't heard you say one nice thing about the US. And if you truly feel that there is nothing nice about the US, then I feel sorry for you, because there is a whole lot of good in my country.
