Well, that's interesting.

The two states I could have voted in (Home and School) both went Kerry. I really despise the two-party system in general, but I did see this coming.

It's not over yet. I pray that Kerry doesn't give in to Bush's bullying and concede. If Kerry honestly loses, after every, single, ballot has been counted, I'm moving to Europe. I can't deal with these racist hillbillies anymore. It's not just the Presidential elections, it's the proposals that were passed in my state also. I look around at my neighbors and think, who are you people, your thinking is that of a caveman. There's no enlightment, our country is regressing if Bush wins.

I don't think the chances of a repeat recount incident are very high. Even government organizations aren't dumb enough to publically humiliate themselves twice in a row.

I guess, Jerry takes a slight lead in the annual prophecy contests. :)

I'd like to add to my previous comments, that the man I've dated for the last 4 years voted for Bush. Because he's rich. Being rich, racist, or scared of terrorist, I feel, are not good or smart reason to base your opinions on who should run this country. Do you know that Bush wants to make abortion illegal? Ha! Do you also know that because of him a proposal has been passed so now gay people cannont be married in Michigan. Are you kidding me? He supports regression. Which is insane.

I don't begrudge all of Bush's choices. I voted for him in 2000. Had Gore been in office when were attacked he probably would have fainted. Bush has done his job, it is now time for a thinking mans President to lead us into peace, which is what our future and present need to be, now.

Why is it we never have any problems at the polls, except for when Bush's powerful family is in office? 4 years ago, the race is close, Florida mysteriously fucks up the ballots. Bush bullies Gore, he concededs. We all accept it.

Flash to four years later. I had the news on from 7:00 p.m. to 4:00a.m. All night long all they talked about was that Florida's ballots wouldn't be counted until Thursday. What? ... The rest of the country has their shit together, but for some reason, Florida doesn't? Again? Give me a break... But now, "miracously" they're all in for some reason and Bush got it. But now... Ohio, who has a very republican Governor who probably would LOVE to move up in the ranks... is having "problems" with their ballots?

I'm not one for conspiracy theories, I like to believe in the good in people, but this is some bullshit.

I love debating politics, so please know that anyone comments are very, very, very, welcome.

Rooting for your favorite canidate, for me, is like rooting for your favorite sports team. There's going to be a little jive talk involved. As I mentioned, people in my life voted for Bush. These are just my opinions. And I welcome yours openly.

I voted against the marraige ammendment and against the ability of the Supreme Court to review legal questions. Did anyone support the SC having that priveledge/responsibility?

As of this time all major media networks have Bush as winning Ohio and Nevada which means Bush has been re-elected. New Mexico looks like will go to Bush as well by the end of the day with the rest of the states up for grabs going for Kerry.

So now all that is left is for Kerry to concede. Will he? I think we will know by the end of the day.

Even if Kerry does challenge he had best have something major because Bush has won the popular vote by 3.5 million and the Electorial vote by over 20 if and when the rest of the states are declared.

I read on my msn homepage just now that Kerry called Bush this morning and conceded. I'm going to go pack my suitcases.
I'm not really moving, yet. But I am so heartbroken. The system is crooked. It's so disenchanting.

It certainly looks like Bush will remain in power...
Although not totally surprising I can't understand how the hell the majority of the Americans think.

My brother was happy though. He imports a lot of stuff from USA and doesn't want your economy back on track...

The concession speech from what I hear was heartfelt - if he only could have shown that throught the whole campaign.......he came across so stiff at times. I am thoroughly depressed that we have Bush for 4 more years.

Such things seems to have very big impact in American elections...during the debates it was even talks about their ties etc. I find that crazy. Sure, a leader must have some charisma, but it is better to have an educated stiff then a jovial fool in charge...
