I have a 1994 Chevy Cavalier whom everyone thought was going to let me down but the poor dear is still hanging in there.
Also a 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII. Very beautiful car. My husband has wanted that car for the longest and now we finally have it.
Can someone tell me step by step how to fix a CD Changer?
The remote in the car shows the damn thing playing but every time we push cd on the tape deck it says no DJ. The book says when it says that that means it's not connected to the tape deck, but we checked and it seems to be connected. Does anyone know how to fix this?

At the moment I have a 87 Honda Civic, I'm the second owner, the first was some old guy that threated it like gold so it's in mint shape and since I stay on top of maintenence I'm pushing a cool 39 mpg despite the fact that it's 17 years old and has 147k miles on it. I've always had one car at a time and have bought every vehicle I have myself so I can remember every one of them, starting with my first when I was 18, I've had a 73 Plymouth Duster, 87 Ford Escort EXP, 77 AMC Gremlin, 79 Dodge Volarie, 87 Lincoln Towncar then my current Honda.

Since this weekend a proud owner of a Honda Civic CRX 1.6 luxe of 1991. This too was owned first by an old man, who could not step out the car anymore cauz he was to old so he had to sell it.
Its in good shape and it rides smooth.

...You have never driven a car untill you drive a Honda....

The past is gray
Why even bother

2005 ford Escape which I cannot warm up to. I picked dark grey because I thought it was hot, but it's not, everyone has dark grey. It's a lovely car but I miss my black Focus. I had a dream the other night I was looking for it and couldn't find. Oh well. This is only a two year lease. Live and learn.

Chrissie u lease your cars for two years? Isn't it cheaper to buy an older one and trade it in when u buy a new car?

Hey... I loved my focus! It's a great car. Fast, low on mileage, black, it was awesome. But, I didn't say I chose it over a B.M.W. lol. The first car I owned was a beat up 89 buick with some smooth broham interior (haha) but I have to say, that car had some guns. If anyone ever thought they could beat me in a red light race they were sadly mistaken. Then, I 'upgraded' to an 88 buick, which was in slightly better condition, but like the first one, I had to put, atleast, a 1000 dollars into it ever winter just for it to start.
When I used it as part of my trade in, I got 100 dollars put towards my focus. That's all it was worth to the dealership.
I generaly don't drive further then, to the top of Michigan, to Canada, and Ohio. So, leasing works out really well for me because I never go over the miles that are alloted in my plan. And, when I accidently pick a car I appreciate but am not all that fond of, I can turn it in in 2 years and pick something new. So it works out really well for me.

Hey My 1994 Cavalier was great...she had an identity crisis...she thought she was a Corvette. In an emergency once I had to drive to Brandon, MB...which is about 200 km from where I live....I made it there and to the hospital in just under an hour.....So how fast was she going?
She also loved off roading....and she never once died on me...well until some idiot ran a red light and t-boned me......He tore her into two pieces...I was very upset. This car was the best I'd ever had........Until my 1985 Chevy Blazer 4X4
