I meant intimidated in the sense that people just getting into weight training go to a Gym and see people who've been doing it for years and who are much more advanced in it.

But if you're not, all the better. There's no reason for it. Most people like to help.

It's good that you've got people around to help you out. It'd probably be good idea to ask them for some help a bit (although it's good to do on your own too.)

It's good to have someone around who's been doing it a while, for spotting when you get into heavier weights.

Injure yourself weight lifting and you won't get back into it for a long long time. But being careful, there's no risk, and building muscle will make you less likely injured in other things, like football.

You're on your way, it sounds to me.

wow, it's been awhile for me since I've been to the gym... or even tryed to workout... I don't really care much for wieght training so much as push-ups, jumpingjacks, running, etc. I'm all fast mussles so the most I've ever been able to rep is around 155lb on bench press. Don't even know about in the other catigories but I can tell you that 3 years ago I used to be able to do 100 pushups without stoping. I wieghed about 165lb then. Now I'm closer to 180lb and I just did 70 pushups which is still more than my roomate who works out every day can do...

The Tourette's Syndrome really does help keep in shape

Well, I suppose if it helps you.

But by you, I meant people in general.
