One of my characters got killed a couple of days ago and I'm feeling rather upset about it, even though in one point I felt like I'd stopped caring and that I was glad to get out of there. I keep thinking could things have been avoided somehow.

Also while doing the statistics I have become aware of the huge number of dead characters and how the number of players/characters has gone down lately.

Edit: Oh, and Josh went back to US today.

I thought the numbers of characters and players were going up again since a couple of months?

After losing lots of players, the amount went up again. If what Doug (da big boss of MD, he knows what he's talking about, trust me) said is true (if he was the one who said it at all lol). And I noticed that for the Dutch, we got about 20 more characters after we lost 40.

According to the official statistics, the character number was increasing rapidly during the last four months. (At least as fast as it was decreasing before.) Admittedly, it's not as obvious in the English regions, but I think the worst is over.

We've had an influx of new French charries in the last month. Some are obviously not native speakers but a few could well be.

P.S. To Seko: *hugs*

Non-Native french speaking characters. One of them is mine..
- Every person lost in war is two too many.
- Respect comes from two sides and must be earned. Nobody has the right to it because of a title, sex, age, race or birth.
- What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
- I believe in True Love, do you?

There are 519 active players who have lost at least one character in the hands of a Cantrian. The biggest number is 38, followed by 32 and 26.

Wonder who that is....

It's not an English player, that's all I can say.

Edit: And some people like making newspawn thieves. Not saying this person would but who knows, could be the case.

RANT: If EQ2 doesn't fix the bloody size of his avatar, I'm going to start going psycho. Ask for it to be fixed the first time, and he comes back with a bigger one. Seriously wtf?

I don't want to have to scroll to the right to try to read what everyone says just because someone can't read the guidlelines right where you upload your pic that tell you what size to make it. Yes, some of us (myself included) made ours bigger but not so big it distorts the bloody forum topics! And ours are barely noticeable (the size diff). ARRRRRRRRRRG.
