I assume you hadn't discovered the magic of puberty and raging hormones by then; without that stuff, you are stupid.

Well duh, but I'm so tired of making friends with the homeless and all my friends around here are all lame and in this thing called in school so meh.
6 months man, 6 months.

Like, all those kids in the US I know tell me it's easy to get weed at school, same with cigarettes and all. Waaah, why isn't it like that here in the Netherlands?

Well, weed's pretty easy to get, ironically, while cigs really aren't. I guess hallucinogens are better than nicotine.

Nah I'd say the hardest thing to get [down here at least] is booze. Booze is the one you always hide the hardest from the cops too. Cigs are the easiest, weed next easiest of course.
Lucy, X, and coke next in line, X first. The ron and all your other basics, painkillers and your uppers and downers and whatnot.
We've a pretty good selection on the east coast, although west coast tends to be cheaper, though they err more on the side of the heavy stuff.
[I used to date a dealer, sorry I'm rambling.]

I don't know man, the Netherlands? All my junkie friends who hit the Netherlands when traveling Europe took about thirty seconds to score, regardless of location. It's all about spotting smokers, good smoker hangouts, chill spots, out-of-the-way open places with trees and grass and nature, that kinda thing, then tracing back to sources.

I won't be surprised that tobacco will be made illegal in the next few decades in the US. If not the whole of the states then definitely in some of them. Here in New York it is $8 for a pack of cigarettes due to the large taxes put on them. It is now illegal to buy large quantities of cigarettes across state lines because they're afraid you're going to turn around and sell them on the street for much less. A lot of people try to buy their cigarettes from the Indian Reservations but the state is cracking down on that now though the American Indians are threatening to close down the thruway since it goes through their lands which would be a problem for New York State.

Holyshit $8 for a pack of ciggs? Before the tax hike they were 2/3 something down in SC, now they're 3/4 somethin and in NC they're 4/5 somethin depending on where you go.
$8 a pack and it's ball crunchingly cold--why does anyone live in the north?
I don't get it.

Art galleries and lovely lofts. And the cold makes profoundly layered, gorgeous outfits, scarves, hats and the like entirely weather appropriate.

Well, New York State is a beautiful state. The only problem is New York City which tries to pay off their debts by taxing the hell out of the upstate which is why places like Albany, Syracuse, Rochester, and Buffalo are dying because they can't compete and afford these taxes. All the state leaders are from New York City. There are talks to make New York City it's own state and break away from the rest of the state but that is most likely not going to go through.

And it is only cold for about four months of the year.

Actually, no art galleries and lovely lofts around where I live. Only lots of trees.

Jeez I find it deliriously easy to get what I need within an hour at the most of when I need it. I pay $12 CAD for a carton of smokes (8 packs of 25), I can drink legally, as can everyone else I know over 19, and if you're under its still hella-easy to find someone to get it for you.

And drugs, don't even get me started. I could hook you up with anything you needed within 15-30 mins, guarenteed lol.

And Queenie, Diego is onto something about the cold, besides the lovely layered outfits. Northerners know, cold=cuddle. :D

especially when we lure you southerners up

Define irony: Your gf sneaks out to spend the night with you like every other saturday night. She uses your computer to check her myspace, and now you've been caught not from her sneaking out or in...but because her mom wants to know how she was online at 3:30A.M. Now you're not allowed to see eachother till she's 18

Isn't life f*cking grand? :D
Eagles may soar, but weasels don't get sucked in to jet engines... :P
