Let's see.....a metric ton of peanuts.
The first thing I'd do, is see how much I had in real tonnage.
Now there's about 28 grams to an ounce........
16 ounces in a pound............
2000 pounds in a ton.........
hmmmm
...divide by 6......carry the 4........times the square root of pi...........minus...........um..........no............er...........
I hate peanuts!

happy bored ramble
I was given a baby hummingbird yesterday, it survived the night. and i am feeding it sugar water and nectar and stuffs. its the cutest thing. all bits of fluff and feather.
how to feed a baby hummingbird:
mix lots of sugar with a little bowl of water, heat to about oh... 100 degrees F. and put some of sugarwater in a small syringe. feed baby hummingbird about .3cc or .4cc at a time, every hour until full grown. Yes, full grown... then release into wild with a big hummingbird feeder on your porch so the little guy has a fighting chance.
dont forget to be very patient. the first few times... they dont get it but after... its fun to watch their little togues flick.
sleep happens in there somewhere. i figure since in the wild, the parents sleep at night, so can i. give baby lots of food right before bed, and right after waking up. woohoo!
Psycho Pixie hummingbird mommy.
