A question aimed at no one in particular:

If your boyfriend/girlfriend cheated on you, what would you do? And will you accept getting back together?

It would depend at the level we were at. If we were just casually dating, it wouldn't matter too much to me. If we were about to get engaged, it would likely be unforgivable. If nothing else, such an act speaks to their character. I think it would also matter if they told me, or if I had to find out myself.

Of course it would depend on a lot of things (like Tal was saying)... but.. most likely, no as far as getting back together. As for what I'd do.. I think I'd just shut down and push them away. That's something that would hurt too much to be able to risk going through it again with the same person.

I mean.. it might be work-throughable, if you really loved them and they really loved you.. mistakes do happen but it would take a long time to be able to even consider getting back together. That's a lot of broken trust to work through. Maybe it's because I'm too jealous of a person, or the thought that they'd cheated on me would mean I just wasn't good enough for them really. It's just like, being pushed away, being rejected. But that's just me. And I don't really know what I'd do unless I were in the situation because there are just so many influencing factors.

They'd be gone just like that. I wouldn't touch that shi,t.

Even if it were a great girl who I got along wonderfully with, I just don't do that "Open" thing.

Firstly, I'm extremly controlling and possesive. Loyalty's important to me. Besides, having a lose women is nothing. Where's the conquest in that? Secondly, no matter how nice a girl (or man) you've got, no matter how much you like them, if they're going to be going around screwing whoever they feel like, they might damn well give you a disease, and then you're finished, or at least spend the rest of your life suffering.

And that's never good.

All of the time Schme. That is four fifths the fun of being in a chemistry field.

You know what my school is have? ESL. That's all we had. That and a group of kids who would cut up plywood to put over the broken windows.

What I'd give to get into some of those acids...

My chemistry teacher showed us how to make a dry ice bomb and we threw it out in one of the school's empty parking lots. That was a long time ago though.

I go to college. And for the amount of money I pay out of pocket, they better have chemicals :D . I also work for an atmospheric chemistry company.

It was a long time ago... More than five years. I forgot about it...

My boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend.. It sure was painful!

She got married now. To someone else, of course.

I've never cheated.

I've probably been cheated on.

As I told my current one, "If you think the guy upstairs is hot, I don't necessarily need to know. If you accidentally sleep with him, that'd be something I should know."

So far it hasn't happened

I think my response would greatly depend on the circumstances and how much I cared for the person I was with. I would be upset, of course, regardless, but people make mistakes. I'd talk to her about it before I made any decisions.

That being said, she better not. Unless it's with a pretty girl. And she takes pictures.

I may or may not be a terrible person.
