Metal is the last bastion of adolescence that is allowed to extend in to adulthood - in all it's hairy, greasy, lack of self-assurance, introverted, attempting to seem not to conform, but still conforming to white, middle-class values and norms, just downright sad and pathetic state...

Grow up people...

And you believe we care what you think?
You can shove your stereotypes up your ass and go listen to your wimpy talentless computer generated shit.
No.
But it's clear you do, else you wouldn't have been so clearly offended, and retaliated as such.

There are other things I would prefer to have up my arse.

xD... xD....

I think you can find inmaturity in any musical genre. Not just in hip-hop or metal. Even you can find inmaturity in people that don't like any kind of music.

I'm hairy, not greasy, self-assured, introverted when there is no reason for being extroverted, conformist with the things that satisfied me and with the ones I can't fight against. And I am singer in a fusion metal band with an average age of 32 years.

Generalizations are always bad for minorities. And, HF, you don't need to do it.

Regards!

Looking for a flame war?

Me?

Never.
I was just trying to wind people up.

It wouldn't work if people didn't take themselves too seriously. Which is what I saw happening here, so I couldn't help but poke fun...

And yes, I am a hypocrite.

I like, among most other things, techno. Which makes me a geek, a nerd, probably wears glasses, thinks they're cool when they're not, computer-fixated, dancing to talentless and depthless music, pill popping, silly dancing, hand waving, alcopop drinking monkey.

Might be true, might not, I don't care. In fact, I can smile, if not laugh, if someone pokes fun at me.

Lighten up
dudes.

The Feeling - Never be Lonely (If there's one band to put a smile on your face it has got to be The Feeling, nice upbeat tracks)
